75,000+ Federal Workers Surprisingly Side With Trump Over Woke Dems

“The people voted for major government reform and that’s what the people are going to get … They’re going to get what they voted for.”

So declared Musk during a recent appearance in the Oval Office, warming the hearts of the tens of millions of Americans who voted in favor of President Donald Trump in 2024.

And that major league reform is apparently so appealing that tens of thousands of federal workers have apparently sided with Trump over the woke Dems.

Such a shift should not have happened, per the raging mainstream media, yet that’s exactly what’s happened as at least 75,000 federal workers have opted in to the Trump administration’s “Fork in the Road” program.

Succinctly defined, the program allows federal employees to accept “deferred resignation,” in which they would be paid through the end of September … and also not required to undertake any “in-person” functions at all.

Not a bad opt-out for individuals who would prefer to remain at home and eventually work elsewhere – like the more lucrative private sector.

Yet the liberal media went haywire anyway, as it typically does over virtually every move Trump makes.

Even when it’s a move clearly in 75,000+ federal workers’ favor, as revealed by the federal workers themselves.

Per a report from the Daily Mail, the newly directed Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is achieving success after all, particularly after a federal judge (a Clinton appointee!) lifted the freeze that temporarily stalled the Trump administration’s program.

“About 75,000 federal workers have abandoned ship and decided to accept President Trump’s deferred buyout after a federal judge lifted a temporary freeze on the offer – as DOGE boss Elon Musk vowed to ‘delete’ entire government agencies. The buyout was just one of many approaches Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency have taken to dismantle bloated bureaucracies and slash a civilian workforce of 2.3 million,” the Daily Mail reported.

Indeed. The wonders of being given the power of real choice … rather than authoritarian mandates that tend to be commonplace under the Dems’ domain.

“There is no longer any doubt: the Deferred Resignation Program was both legal and a valuable option for federal employees,” the OPM added.

Without a doubt.

As many readers recognized.

“Receiving pay and benefit through October would seem like a pretty good offer, especially for those planning on retiring in the next year or two anyway,” one commenter declared.

“Yes, this is a pretty good offer, especially for experts and top performers who regularly receive headhunter calls and LinkedIn messages about private sector jobs,” another replied.

However, it is clear that Trump won’t be stopping with the “Fork in the Road” program … if anything, he will be escalating the intensity of government trimming.

At the recent, annual World Governments Summit in Dubai, Elon Musk announced that some agencies would likely be removed entirely, given how much of a weed they have become in the ultra-woke swamp.

“It’s kind of like leaving a weed … If you don’t remove the roots of the weed, then it’s easy for the weed to grow back. But if you remove the roots of the weed – it doesn’t stop weeds from ever going back, but it makes it harder,” Musk declared.

Naturally, a huge array of weeds emerged under the Biden-Harris administration.

“That’s not to say there won’t be an increase over time of bureaucracy in some new administration, but it will be from a much lower baseline. So, certainly, it’s a step in the right direction,” Musk continued.

Step by step, Trump is getting things done … and striking down senseless court freezes, one by one.
