Harvard Professors Demand Violent Anarchy Against A MAGA Victory

What is it with the left always blasting conservatives for the very behavior that they themselves exhibit?

The final vote count is nowhere in sight, yet a couple of Ivy League professors are already agitating for mass riots in the case that Trump wins.

According to a report from Blaze Media, a pair of Harvard University professors – Daniel Ziblatt and Steve Levitsky – have already crafted some demented plan for revolting against Trump, should he prevail in the imminent election.

And they presented that plan in the New York Times, where they highlighted their proposed, violent anarchy as a form of “societal mobilization.”

According to the so-called Ivy League geniuses, Trump is an indisputable tyrant, and he apparently must be subjected to the “five strategies that pro-democratic forces around the world have employed” against “authoritarian threats.”

Naturally, the Ivy League professors have claimed that four strategies have failed to date in apparently stopping the “authoritarian” nature of Trump.

The first strategy includes laissez-faire, “self-correcting power of electoral competition,” which is allegedly “distorted by an 18th-century institution, the Electoral College.”

In other words, the professors want to tank the electoral college in favor of California and New York determining the victor in a presidential election … indefinitely.

The second strategy is militant or defensive democracy, where undesirable speech is censored by self-proclaimed pro-democracy officials.

So, in other words, the Ivy League professors failed in killing free speech.

The third strategy, per the “geniuses,” is partisan gatekeeping, wherein popular candidates declared to be “antidemocratic” are stymied from moving upwards.

However, Trump has continued to soar upwards, especially as his opponents literlaly tried to kill him.

The fourth strategy is containment, wherein establishments, otherwise known as the swamp, establish coalitions across party lines in order to preclude voters from having an option.

Which the left has also done by attempting – and failing – to remove Trump from the ballot.

Now, the Harvard professors are openly advocating for widespread anarchy.

“Democracy’s last bastion of defense is civil society,” the authors wrote.

Uh huh.

“When the constitutional order is under threat, influential groups and societal leaders – chief executives, religious leaders, labor leaders and prominent retired public officials – must speak out, reminding citizens of the red lines that democratic societies must never cross. And when politicians cross those red lines, society’s most prominent voices must publicly and forcefully repudiate them,” the woke professors continued.

So, in other words, the professors are calling for the very violent riots that they claim Trump, and Trump alone, inspires.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

“The U.S. establishment is sleepwalking toward a crisis. An openly antidemocratic figure stands at least a 50-50 chance of winning the presidency. The Supreme Court and the Republican Party have abdicated their gatekeeping responsibilities, and too many of America’s most influential political, business and religious leaders remain on the sidelines. Unable to rise above fear or narrow ambition, they hedge their bets. But time is running out. What are they waiting for?”

Well, Harvard professors, perhaps Americans do not want the woke wasteland envisioned by out of touch politicians and their lapdogs in Ivy League schools.

Needless to say, quite a few are horrified by Harvard’s call to violence.

Jeffrey Tucker, president of the Brownstone Institute, declared that their position was “chilling.”

“That is one chilling article: abolishing democracy to protect it. Amazing. Harvard. Notice how at the end, they tip their hand and call for a defense of ‘the U.S. establishment.’ Every single one of the cases they mention concerns a populist movement against elites,” Tucker declared.

Yep. They’re calling for total anarchy, in other words.

Jeremy Carl, a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute, also noted that the editorial itself is ironically indicative of authoritarianism.

“This op-ed is advocating pure authoritarianism under the guise of guarding against authoritarianism … It’s amazing how far Harvard’s Government department has fallen that it would have professors express such views,” Carl declared.

Blaze News senior editor and Washington correspondent Christopher Bedford flatly remarked, “it was always a Color Revolution,” in reference to the left’s craziness.

“Color revolutions – such as the 2003 Rose Revolution in Georgia, the 2005 Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine’s Orange Revolution in 2004 – are political upheavals aimed at toppling supposedly illegitimate or abusive regimes and replacing them with supposedly liberal democratic regimes,” Blaze Media reported.

So, in other words, the Dems want to bring to US soil the same types of revolutions that have erupted throughout the former Soviet empire.

That’s nice.

And Trump is the one who colludes with Russia? Hardly …
