Way to go, Colorado.
Indeed, Colorado has had some impressively disastrous policies.
From its “Wild West” approach to drug decriminalization to “defund police” protests, it’s no surprise that quite a few illegal migrants have found a home in the frequently snow-laden state.
And those illegals aren’t shy about taking over entire apartment complexes … with assault rifles.
Per a stunning report from the New York Post, a video has surfaced that illustrates multiple illegal Venezuelan migrants storming apartment buildings with impunity, some of whom were violently brandishing weapons.
“A shocking video shows a crew of gun-wielding men storm through a Colorado apartment building reportedly overrun by a dangerous Venezuelan prison gang.
The group of heavily armed men – including three with handguns and one with a rifle – enter the troubled apartment complex in the Denver suburb of Aurora and break into a unit, the clip obtained by KDVR shows.
The footage was captured earlier this month, shortly before a shootout at the complex, The Edge at Lowry, severely injured one person and damaged multiple cars, according to the local news station,” the New York Post detailed.
Well, that’s nice. More of those “newcomers” that Biden keeps welcoming.
Much to the chagrin of Americans who actually have to live with the chaos, such as Cindy Romero and her husband, Edward.
“It’s been a nightmare and I can’t wait to get out of here,” Cindy Romero asserted.
Cindy detailed how she and her husband had to install five locks on their apartment door from top to bottom, alongside a door security bar jammer.
All to deal with the illegal migrants.
“Every day when we come home, we have to do this every time we go outside to take out the garbage … Every time we go to bed at night. We have to keep like this so that nobody can kick in the door,” Cindy declared.
Horrible.
Imagine how many Democrats would be “pro open borders” if they had to deal with that for even one night, never mind their entire life.
Exactly zero, but Dems rarely experience the effects of the policies they mandate.
Nor do they offer help to others who desperately need it … as the result of their awful policies.
“We couldn’t get any help. We tried reaching out to resources, but they told us since it was not a condemned building, we would have to wait ’til that was the issue, but we didn’t want to wait for that,” Edward Romero chimed in.
The terror experienced by the Romero family is precisely why Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky has totally had it with the migrant crisis.
“The city nonprofits have lined up to help the migrants that have come here but nobody is helping the Americans that are trapped in these apartment complexes … [And] this isn’t just Americans. Other Venezuelans are being extorted by this gang,” Jurinsky asserted.
In other words, illegal migrants are harassing other illegal migrants, or effectively importing all the crime that characterized their countries of origin straight into the United States.
“To our governor and to the mayor of Denver, I refuse to be silenced. I refuse to play the game of politics with you regarding this migrant crisis. And I will continue to speak up and speak out and help as many people as I can,” Jurinsky asserted.
Well, good luck with that.
Especially with a swamp that’s been militantly pro-illegal for years …
