While liberals have long made it clear that intellectual curiosity is hardly their strong suit, it’s pretty bad when they apparently find competence to be fearful.
In a hilarious conversation with MSNBC host Ari Melber, “college professor” Jason Johnson proceeded to freak out over the apparent “competence” of Trump’s new pick for the nation’s AG.
That’s right: Before, the mainstream media skewered Trump and his entire team for being incompetent.
Now, they’re skewering him for apparently being too competent.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Johnson, who is also a predictable MSNBC “contributor,” took his few moments on air to apparently rant and rave about the evils of competence.
“Occasionally, attorneys general try to behave like they are not the personal lawyer of the President of the United States. That is completely out the window,” Johnson roared.
Is that so? By all means, Mr. “Professor,” please enlighten us.
“Pam Bondi is exactly what I was saying in the last segment that we should all fear, because she’s competent,” Johnson
Wow. Just wow.
Rather astonishing that ultra-woke commentators are now ordering Americans to fear competence. Especially competence that may actually uphold the law!
Naturally, Johnson took the opportunity to bash Matt Gaetz as well, who was effectively chased out of the position due to a massive media witch hunt.
“We may not agree with her ideologically, but she actually knows how to do this job. So if anyone on the Democratic side or anyone who cared about liberty or justice was thinking ‘Well maybe Matt Gaetz will screw this up and that will give us time,’ no. Pam Bondi knows what she is doing,” Johnson groaned.
Oh, really? Guess the media better think twice before launching a massive witch hunt, shouldn’t it!
Perhaps even more disturbingly, Johnson is apparently enraged that Bondi knows what she’s doing with regards to illegal migrants, otherwise known as Dems’ bread-and-butter … not to mention the bread-and-butter of mainstream media.
“She knows what she’s doing about immigration. Remember, Florida is one of those states that has been very aggressive about migrants and deportation and moving people to different states and everything else like that. Florida has enacted all sorts of rules and laws to curtail students and what they can do on campuses and finding legal justifications for manipulating education money,” Johnson raged.
Ah. Only a Democrat could call an “America First” curriculum, which refuses to entertain transgender ideology, as “manipulating election money.”
Johnson continued to rage on about how “dangerous” Bondi is because she’s “effective.”
“She is a dangerous and effective pick, and that’s frankly worse than what we would have got with Matt Gaetz, even with the deplorable moral background that he has,” Johnson whined.
Again, Mr. Johnson, it is your ultra-woke media that led Gaetz to step down in the first place. What did you think Trump was going to do? Recommend someone incompetent?
Alas, Johnson refuses to even take ownership of the fact that the media is responsible for Gaetz stepping down.
Instead, he predictably blames Trump.
“I never necessarily thought that Matt Gaetz was a sincere pick. Trump can call all he wants, but I suspect there were many, many people lined up to come after him who won’t be as offensive, who might actually be more effective,” Johnson babbled.
There he goes again, demonstrating all that fear of effectiveness and competence.
Terrifying terms to a Marxist militant, to be sure.
“So while it might be a loss in the battle, I don’t necessarily think it’s a victory in the war against what may be an AG that ushers in an authoritarian type of presidency that affects the fundamental rights of American citizens,” Johnson added hysterically.
Oh yes. Heaven forbid that the “fundamental rights of American citizens” are threatened by putting a stop to mass illegal migration!
Little wonder that Johnson is a college professor and MSNBC contributor.
It is doubtful that he would be “competent” or “effective” anywhere else.
