Media Seeks “Safe Space” From Musk

The mainstream media, as dangerous as it clear is, can also serve a periodically useful purpose every now and then.

One useful purpose includes rather obvious humor, especially when the mainstream media appears to need a safe space.

Apparently, Elon Musk is one of the largest sources of anxiety for networks that routinely profiteer off of creating anxiety for everyone else, which is precisely why the media is feeding upon the commentary from previous Twitter employees.

And, much in the same way that the media routinely ordered the public to “believe all women” during the MeToo era (all women, aside from those who accuse Democrats, that is), it appears that the media is also adhering to a “believe all former Twitter employees” mentality.

Provided that these employees provide commentary that fits the predetermined narrative, that is.

Indeed, former Twitter employees who ramble on and on about the “culture of fear and uncertainty, of anxiety” under Musk’s direction are ones who receive ample airtime in the mainstream media, as they can reinforce the left’s constant self-victimization.

Current Twitter employees who may appreciate the new direction of the company certainly aren’t heard of, that’s for sure, especially as the mainstream media itself appears to be “cancelling” its presence on Twitter.

Jonathan Vigliotti, who works as a CBS News national correspondent, detailed the various ways in which major media outlets apparently need a safe space from Elon Musk.

“In light of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the social media site as it continues to monitor the platform,” Vigliotti declared.

The CBS network also issued a statement that sounded near identical to its snowflake correspondent’s.

Or, more accurately, snowflake Vigliotti was following the script handed down to him by CBS.

“In light of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News Bay Area is pausing its activity on the social media site as we continue to monitor the platform,” the news network declared.

Oh please. What a bunch of self-serving nonsense.

It’s a shame the same CBS did not use “an abundance of caution” when reporting on a bunch of disinformation, such as the supposed “Russian disinformation” that constituted Hunter Biden’s ongoing laptop saga.

A laptop, coincidentally, which was only recently authenticated by CBS.

Needless to say, CBS incurred significant mockery for its snowflake position and sudden concern for misinformation.

Professional baseball player Adam Housley tweeted in derision against CBS, illustrating the network’s rather obvious lack of concern for consistency.

“Were you as concerned when many journalists were completely shut down for reporting a true story? No … no you weren’t. This is typical self-gratification and not a national or local news story. What a waste of 90 seconds…or whatever time you give stories now,” Housley declared.

NewsBusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck also mocked CBS online, demonstrating precisely why the American public rarely believes the nonsense beaming at them from Big Tech-controlled TVs.

“Pure idiocy from CBS News. Don’t whine then about why people don’t trust you when they can’t find you in the 21st century’s public square. CBS News quitting Twitter because they think @ElonMusk will allow hackers or something into their accounts is so weak. This is so stupid my head hurts,” Houck asserted.

What’s even more absurd is that CBS has asserted its intentions to demonstrate “an abundance of caution” regarding Twitter, yet the network continues to maintain steadfast allegiance to TikTok.

Rather interesting, considering TikTok has now been widely identified as one of the greatest national security threats to the United States in terms of mobile applications, especially given the extent to which the application has penetrated hundreds of millions of smartphones in the “free” world.

Doesn’t help when the Biden administration demonizes Twitter while engaging with TikTok “influencers,” all of which serves to further enrich Beijing while eroding Americans’ liberties.

Then again, perhaps “the Big Guy” gets an indirect cut of Beijing’s shameless profiteering off of Americans’ personal data.
