Musk Mulls Move Away From YouTube

British comedian Russell Brand has totally had it with censoring the little guys while the big guys spread their lies, and he made that extremely clear in a recent posting.

To the extent he’s capture the attention of Elon Musk, who remarked “Good point,” to Brand’s anti-media rant, delineated below.

In fact, Brand is so ticked he may abandon YouTube all together in favor of Rumble, a platform that doesn’t crucify conservatives, or anyone else who questions the official lies … err, narrative.

“We have been officially censored by YouTube. They took down one of our videos for misinformation, but why are big media organizations not censored for misinformation in the same way? Is it because YouTube are part of the mainstream media now?” Brand demanded.

Well, clearly. How else can Google continue to avoid monopoly prosecution and other measures unless it agrees to do anything and everything the government wants, at any time?

Brand was apparently censored after daring to drift from the official COVID narrative, and not even an apology helped (despite the fact leftists always demand an apology).

“We made an apology video, we’ve taken that down as well. YouTube took down our original video, we’ve taken down the apology video because in case we reiterate the claim while apologizing for it,” Brand continued.

Pretty absurd, really, considering Biden spreads brazen lies with impunity. And threats.

“We made an error, in my opinion a relatively small error, and we’re being penalized! For me that looks like censorship, and the reason I think it looks like censorship is because there’s mainstream media misinformation up all the time,” Brand continued, before showing a precise example of such bias.

Fortunately, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is a great example.

“Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person,” Maddow intoned.

Well, quadruple vaccinated Biden still got COVID in his 80s and he’s fine, so Ms. Maddow’s remark didn’t age well.

Yet she was never censored as she repeated the state’s lies, err, lines.

Leading to questions from people who don’t blindly swallow the narrative, like

Brand also pointed out that the powers that be clearly wish to crush independent thinking.

“So we’re asking: Is there one standard for independent news broadcasters like us on our channel and a different standard for what we would call the ‘mainstream media? Why are independent channels being attacked, censored and brought down. While mainstream media channels are being pushed, highlighted and celebrated?” Brand demanded.

But of course. That’s the only way to fully control the narrative, North Korea style.

No wonder Musk uttered, “good point.”

In fact, Musk offered more than that, including a direct response to Rumble’s founder, Chris Pavlovksi, who pleaded with Musk to work with him on his platform.

“Below is from 2010 when I visited SpaceX. I was ready 12 years ago, and I’m ready 12 years from now. Whenever you’re ready,” Pavlovksi urged.

Clearly, Musk found some element of his tweet compelling, as he replied, “maybe worth talking at some point.”

For free speech lovers everywhere, it most certainly would be …
