Secret Service Faces Comeuppance For Failure To Protect Trump

Looks like the leader of the Secret Service finally got the point.

Following a disastrous appearance before the House Oversight Committee in Congress, however, it became clear that Cheatle could no longer masquerade as a so-called leader of the Secret Service.

Then again, it took Senator Bob Menendez several days to agree to step down after being convicted of corruption shenanigans with Egypt, so perhaps Ms. Cheatle was simply following his lead.

“To the Men and Women of the U.S. Secret Service, The Secret Service’s solemn mission is to protect our nation’s leaders and financial infrastructure … On July 13th, we fell short on that mission,” Cheatle admitted.

No kidding!

Despite her resignation now, she surely clung to power for as long as possible.

For several days, Kimberly Cheatle, the rather woke leader of the Secret Service, has refused to step down, despite her egregious error in failing to protect (soon to be) President Trump.

Indeed, not only did Trump’s would-be assassin lurk around the rally location for up to three hours before his attack, he actually attempted to enter with a range finder.

Now, why on earth would anyone attempt to enter a rally with a range finder, unless they had deeply nefarious intentions in mind?

On top of that, even once Trump’s would-be assassin ascended to the roof from where he would take his deadly shots, the Secret Service still did nothing.

Frankly, the degree of incompetence expressed by the Secret Service was so egregious that a number of uncomfortable questions come to mind.

Including whether or not the shooter acted “alone,” as insisted upon by the biased FBI.

How convenient so many “lone actors” have been for varied federal agencies, in particular the agencies that seem to have the greatest interest in subverting the will of the American people.

Frankly, even without the catastrophic situation regarding Trump, Cheatle should not have been in charge of the Secret Service, given her general obsession with all things woke.

Just consider her remarks to CBS last year, in which she rambled on and on about how 30 percent of all Secret Service recruits would be female by 2030.

“I’m very conscious as I sit in this chair now, of making sure that we need to attract diverse candidates and ensure that we are developing and giving opportunities to everybody in our workforce, and particularly women,” Cheatle brayed.

Right. “Diverse candidates” … who apparently don’t have a clue of what to do during a crisis.

And, to underscore the degree of Cheatle’s woke madness, resources were actually used for absurd seminars, such as the “respectful use of pronouns” seminar, as well as the establishment of the “Inclusion Engagement Council.”

Guess it would be too logical for Cheatle actually promote something more practical, such as seminars and councils that align with the entire point of the Secret Service in the first place.

Looks like Elon Musk didn’t refer to DEI as “DIE” for nothing.

Considering the deadly catastrophes that have emerged regarding Boeing, the Secret Service, and other suddenly DEI-obsessed organizations.

Of course, Biden was sure to sing Cheatle’s praises, which is a tad strange considering that she failed to protect his former competitor.

“As a leader, it takes honor, courage, and incredible integrity to take full responsibility for an organization tasked with one of the most challenging jobs in public service. We all know what happened that day can never happen again. As we move forward, I wish Kim all the best,” Biden boomed.

“Take full responsibility?”

Get real.

And, as far as “what happened that day” never happening again?

Unlikely, especially with the Clintons now backing Kamala.
