Gotta love Senator Ted Cruz, whose elocution and knowledge simply leaves whining leftists speechless.
After all, whining leftists are typically kowtowing to an equally pitiable audience, which means they don’t really have to think too much.
They should avoid debates with people like Cruz, which AOC found out rather embarrassingly on Twitter.
And AOC picked the wrong topic to fight Cruz on, given that it pertained to the absurd travel warning issued by the NAACP regarding Florida … despite the fact that the NAACP head resides in Tampa, Florida.
Likely to evade income tax.
“Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals … Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color,” the NAACP pompously declared.
As detailed at length by Fox News, Cruz was disgusted by the announcement, which he blasted as “bizarre.”
“This is bizarre. And utterly dishonest … In the 1950s & 1960s, the NAACP did extraordinary good helping lead the civil rights movement. Today, Dr. King would be ashamed of how profoundly they lost their way,” Cruz raged.
Indeed. King was also opposed to violence, but radical activists don’t like to discuss that fact.
In response to a snowflake that claimed Cruz would have been “first in line” to filibuster the voting and civil rights acts passed during the 1950s and 1960s, Cruz swiftly shut down them down with a quick, accurate rebuke.
“Nonsense. That shameful filibuster was led by Democrats – your party. My party – the Republicans – proudly voted for the Civil Rights Act in much higher percentages than the racist Dems,” Cruz proclaimed.
At that point, AOC unwisely drifted into the discussion.
“Why don’t you go ahead and tell people what happened to the parties after that, Ted,” AOC sneered.
“Sure. – First, the Dem party founded the KKK. – Then the Dem party wrote Jim Crow laws. – Then the Dem party filibustered the Civil Rights Act,” Cruz drawled, “today, the Dem part filibusters school choice – trapping millions of Black kids in failing schools. – Today, the Dem party pushes abolishing the police, which results in many more Black lives murdered. – Today, every Dem senator voted against my bill to stop DC from throwing 40% of Black kids out of schools bc of vax mandate.”
Well then. Seems the Dems are a lot more “racist” than they’d like to admit.
Little wonder they want to erase history now.
“The Republican Party was founded to oppose slavery. Our first Republican President was Abraham Lincoln, who won the Civil War and ended slavery. It was Republicans who voted for the civil Rights Act in a much higher percentage than racist Dems,” Cruz asserted.
Yep. And this nation could certainly use a Lincoln now …
Cruz also touted Trump’s large achievements, despite the fact that the media never gives him the accolades he deserves.
“Today, we produced the lowest African-American unemployment EVER, under the Trump economic boom. – Today, we produced the lowest African-American poverty levels EVER, under the Trump economic boom … Today, (in 2017) I passed the largest expansion of federal school choice EVER (making 529 plans cover K-12), over the objection of [every] single Senate Dem,” Cruz added pointedly.
Seems every single Senate Dem apparently wants continued subservience to the government.
Who would have thought!
Cruz really silenced AOC with photographic history as well, even referencing Biden’s highly controversial appearances.
“Also, just two years ago, the Dem governor of Virginia had put the photo of A MAN DRESSED AS A KKK KLANSMAN on his personal yearbook page. – And today, the sitting Dem President – Joe Biden – gave in 2011 a flowery eulogy for an ‘Exalted Cyclops’ of the KKK,” Cruz proclaimed.
Lastly, as a stunned AOC sat, utterly unable to respond, Cruz slammed her for her disregard for migrants’ plight at the border.
“And to add to all that, the Dem party aggressively supports open borders – which has led to the deaths and brutal assaults of thousands of Hispanics, and @aoc somehow can’t seem to find her White pantsuit to cry over their suffering,” Cruz added pointedly.
At that point, Twitter CEO Elon Musk chimed in with delight.
“The kind of interaction that makes this platform so unique & entertaining!” Musk proclaimed.
With any luck, Musk will supersede the current “legacy” media, which isn’t going to leave much of a legacy, aside from wanton destruction.
