Way to take a stand for parents, President Donald Trump!
Many conservative parents undoubtedly felt beat up by the Biden administration’s relentless assault on public schools, which was aided and abetted by a woke Department of Education.
The assault was further reinforced by deranged DEI initiatives, which Trump took aim at as soon as he was sworn into office with a key executive order.
The executive order – “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing” – made it clear that DEI would be targeted, government-wide, due to its highly discriminatory practices.
“The Biden Administration forced illegal and immoral discrimination programs, going by the name ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ (DEI), into virtually all aspects of the Federal Government, in areas ranging from airline safety to the military,” the order proclaimed.
The order, which may be reviewed in its entirety here, highlights all the ways in which DEI leads to serious challenges within the government, especially in terms of basic efficiency.
And such deranged initiatives can be especially dangerous in an educational setting, much like they are in transportation settings.
After all, the pro-Hamas college students didn’t get their ideas in a vacuum … they got them from deeply problematic “classes” in school.
And now those classes are getting a bigtime wakeup call, following the Department of Education’s decision to banish all DEI initiatives without question.
As detailed in a report by Breitbart, the department is currently eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and squashed what it called “Biden’s Book Ban Hoax.”
“These actions are in line with President Trump’s ongoing commitment to end illegal discrimination and wasteful spending across the federal government. They are the first step in reorienting the agency toward prioritizing meaningful learning ahead of divisive ideology in our schools,” the department asserted in a statement.
In other words, major savings for taxpayers and major critical thinking development for students. A win-win situation!
The department will also aim towards “[identifying] additional initiatives and working groups that may be advancing a divisive DEI agenda, including programs using coded or imprecise language to disguise their activity.”
Love it. The department already knows that the ultra-woke will try to get around the ban with secret language … though the Trump administration is already on the lookout for that language.
“These review efforts will continue as the Department works to end discrimination based on race and the use of harmful race stereotypes, both within the agency and throughout America’s education system,” the statement continued.
Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Craig Trainor is delighted with the development, referring to it as the “beginning [of] the process of restoring the fundamental rights of parents to direct their children’s education.”
“The department adheres to the deeply rooted American principle that local control over public education best allows parents and teachers alike to assess the educational needs of their children and communities. Parents and school boards have broad discretion to fulfill that important responsibility. These decisions will no longer be second-guessed by the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education,” Trainor asserted.
In other words, the Trump administration truly is making the nation great again, from the FAA to public schools.
Given how much he has achieved in under two weeks, just imagine what he will achieve in under two months …
