Trump Calls For “Much Bigger” Solution Than Ceasefire In Iran-Israel War

“You’re going to find out over the next two days. You’re going to find out. Nobody’s slowed up so far.”

So declared President Donald Trump in a rather ominous synopsis of what may well be barreling towards the Middle East amid intensifying clashes between Israel and Iran.

And that synopsis apparently includes a full-blown cessation of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program, rather than a mere “ceasefire” between Israel and Iran.

Apparently distancing himself from French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump brushed off suggestions that a ceasefire would be a satisfactory enough development.

“I didn’t say I was looking for a ceasefire,” Trump remarked irritably, adding that Macron was “mistaken” when declaring that the American president was hashing out a peace agreement behind the scenes.

On the contrary, Trump reportedly wants a total cessation of the entire nuclear enrichment program in Iran … the “much bigger” development that must occur, per the American president.

That development might be a tad more difficult to navigate.

Though it is one of several developments that suggests that the world is not in for an easier time any time soon, despite hopes to the contrary.

Quite recently, Trump set the world on edge when he publicly indicated that the United States might become “involved” in a war in the Middle East.

The world found itself even further on edge following other less than illustrious headlines that emerged shortly after Trump’s “involvement” commentary.

“U.S. Expands Military Footprint in Middle East as Trump Says He Wants End to Conflict,” the Wall Street Journal blared, making it clear that everyone from Vice President JD Vance to US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff had become embroiled in the conflict.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hesgeth did little to dispel the rising fears over global wars, noting that the United States had opted to send “additional capabilities” to the incendiary Middle Eastern region.

“Over the weekend, I directed the deployment of additional capabilities to the United States Central Command Area of Responsibility. Protecting U.S. forces is our top priority and these deployments are intended to enhance our defensive posture in the region,” Hesgeth brusquely declared on X.

Oddly enough, those “additional capabilities” may well inspire mixed emotions in Tehran, given the response thus far to the Israeli strikes.

Naturally, some of the more intriguing commentaries have emerged from Iranians living in Tehran … in particular individuals who have long been opposed to the oppressive, terrorist-promoting regime.

One Iranian insider revealed that she felt a sense of “strange excitement” upon seeing Israel succeed in killing several Iranian military officials – all of whom undoubtedly yearn for the destruction of the United States.

Apparently, the Iranian military generals had instilled such an immense sense of fear that ordinary Iranians – of which there are many, if not the majority – believed that said military generals might live “forever.”

Though that perception vanished once the Israelis succeeded in their targeted assault on the upper echelons of the Iranian military.

“Suddenly that image of power was shattered … But from the second day, when I heard that regular people – people I didn’t know, people like me – had also been killed, I started to feel sorrow, fear and sadness,” the insider added.

An absolutely horrific outcome, to be certain.

Which is perhaps why Trump rather openly – if frighteningly – called for everyone to “evacuate” Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Especially if the Iranian generals remain hellbent on obtaining nuclear weapons.

“Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” Trump proclaimed, shortly after making an unexpectedly early departure from the G7 meeting in Canada.

According to a report from Fox News, Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. – Yechiel Leiter – the infamous explosions of pagers and walkie talkies may well appear “simple” relative to what Israeli intelligence has in store for the next strike.

“We’ve pulled off a number of surprises,” Leiter gleefully announced, “When the dust settles, you’re going to see some surprises on Thursday night and Friday that will make the beeper operation almost seem simple.”

An alarming proposition, to be sure … albeit one in which the world will wait with bated breath.
