Trump Revokes Visas For 4,000+ Students Over Criminality Controversy

While the current calamity in Los Angeles has dominated the media news cycle for the past several days, several other issues continue to boil across the nation.

One of which includes the ongoing war between the Trump administration and Harvard University.

The Ivy League institution has long been in Trump’s crosshairs due to its apparent embrace of antisemitic protests, and the inadequate response prompted the president to strip the school of federal funding.

And, later on, the president also stripped the school of its right to host foreign students.

“What happens if Harvard is not Harvard?” the New York Times fretted in response.

Well, New York Times, Harvard might be more “criminal free” without several foreign students … if recent reports regarding foreign students’ criminal backgrounds are to be believed.

Especially when considering the apparent criminal records held by more than one.

In an exclusive report from the New York Post, the Trump administration has exhaustively combed through numerous records on numerous foreign students – best characterized as “temporary visitors” – and found more than one visa presumably worthy of revocation.

Indeed, judging from the litany of crimes presented across their formal records, it appears that more than one foreign “student” came to the United States with other intentions in mind.

Which is quite unfortunate, given the degree to which they spoil opportunities for several other students with purely honorable intentions.

“The Trump administration has revoked the visas of 4,000 foreign students in its first 100 days – the bulk of which have committed crimes in the US including arson, assault and robbery,” the New York Post reported.

An alarming number.

“More than 90 percent of the rogue students who saw their visas nixed had committed crimes such as arson, wildlife and human trafficking, child endangerment, domestic abuse, DUI and robbery, a senior State Department source told The Post Monday. More than 500 of them had assault raps,” the New York Postcontinued.

Lovely.

Given those rap sheets, it would appear that quite a few may well be finishing the job, indeed, of the former Obama administration.

As unwisely stated by Obama himself in 2021.

Interestingly, universities were scrambling to retain their international students – and those big international student tuition fees – upon learning Trump would probably become president again.

Now, with the latest revocation of several thousand student visas, it would appear that a new sheriff is definitely in town, and money-hungry universities have limited, if any, recourse.
