“We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country – never to return again.”
So declared President Donald Trump with regards to his efforts to find – and deport – all the non-American citizen disruptors across college campuses.
Especially since legal immigration to the United States typically requires adherence to the law in order to remain lawfully present.
Well, one of the top agitators on Columbia campuses – Mahmoud Khalil – who has reportedly been linked with Hamas, finally faced consequences from the Trump administration for his antisemitic actions that aligned with an establish terrorist group’s demented ideology.
As Trump noted, many of the agitators on campus were not even students, but rather “paid agitators.”
And Khalili was one of the biggest agitators of all, which is precisely why the Trump administration has sought to revoke his green card.
Naturally, liberals have thrown a fit.
According to a report from Fox News, several Democrats who were all too eager to see the law weaponized against Trump in New York are apparently aghast that Khalil has to actually face consequences for his own crimes … in New York.
Globally publicized crimes, no less, as Jewish students cowered in fear on their own university campuses.
One such liberal includes House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
“Mahmoud Khalil is a legal permanent resident whose wife, an American citizen, is eight months pregnant. To the extent his actions were inconsistent with Columbia University policy and created an unacceptable hostile academic environment for Jewish students and others, there is a serious university disciplinary process that can handle the matter,” Jeffries asserted.
“A serious university disciplinary process?” Is Jeffries for real?
There may have been a disciplinary process in place, but even Columbia University’s temporary president admitted that past disciplinary processes were basically “on paper only.”
“DHS must produce facts and evidence of criminal activity,” Jeffries insisted.
Sorry that the broken windows and campus fires apparently weren’t enough “evidence” for you, Jeffries.
Not to mention more extreme militants literally barricading themselves within university buildings.
“Squad” member Rashida Tlaib, who never misses an opportunity to cheer for terrorists, argued that it was “dangerous to allow our government to target people based on political speech.”
Oh, the irony.
Perhaps most hilariously of all, New York State Attorney General Letitia James, who dedicated most of her career to “getting Trump,” is apparently very “concerned” about the arrest and detention of a pro-Hamas agitator on American college campuses.
“I am extremely concerned about the arrest and detention of Mahmoud Khalil, an advocate and legal permanent resident of Palestinian descent. My office is monitoring the situation, and we are in contact with his attorney,” James whined.
Shame that James didn’t spend more time “monitoring” for all criminals, rather than searching for anything and everything to possibly charge Trump with.
Meanwhile, Trump focuses on criminals that actually threaten America.
“We know there are more students at Columbia and other Universities across the Country who have engaged in pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic, anti-American activity, and the Trump Administration will not tolerate it,” Trump asserted.
Without a doubt!
