At last, the multi-year witch hunt surrounding imminent President Donald Trump has hit a serious, albeit long overdue, snag.
And you know the snag is a big one when the New York Times, of all publications, publishes the following headline: “The Judge Imposing Trump’s Sentence Has Felt the Brunt of His Attacks.”
You don’t say …
Indeed, far from imprisoning Trump, corrupt Judge Merchan, who is notorious for colluding with the Democrats via his daughter’s “consulting” firm, sentenced the incoming President to “unconditional discharge” instead.
Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass announced the outcome, a massive victory for MAGA.
“In this court’s January 3rd decision on the defendant’s Clayton motion, Your Honor indicated an inclination to impose an unconditional discharge. Under all the circumstances of this case, its unique posture, and the defendant’s status as president-elect, The People recommend a sentence of an unconditional discharge,” Steinglass announced.
The entirety of the court transcript, in all its hilarity, may be reviewed here.
With any luck, it will be the snag to undo all other witch hunts pending against Trump, from mainstream media hits to absurd judicial abuses.
While New York is perhaps one of the most egregious examples of witch hunts against Trump, other corrupt liberals in other states have desperately attempted to emulate the same weaponization of the judicial system.
In Georgia, for instance, Fani Willis, the ultimate DEI pick, continued to pursue Trump with absolutely dogged determination.
Despite the fact her own egregious misuse of taxpayer funds should have resulted in her removal from a “case” that should have never occurred in the first place.
Astonishingly, Willis spent taxpayer funds on lavish vacations to northern California wineries with her equally corrupt lover, Nathan Wade.
Of course, Wade was also hired by Willis and paid a massive salary – procured purely from taxpayer funds – to “get Trump.”
In fact, Willis’s behavior was so egregious that even mainstream media reported upon it … given that she covered her tracks even more poorly than the drug-addled Hunter Biden.
“The issue, critics say, is that Wade has been paid over $650,000 in the position that he was appointed to by Willis … Willis, who has acknowledged that a romantic relationship with Wade that began after she hired him in November 2021 … benefited from hiring Wade because he took her on several trips,” CBS News reported, noting that one trip involved a $500+ wine tasting … that Willis paid in cash.
Alas, as a DEI judge, Willis lacks both the humility and the common sense to resign; instead, she doubled down.
Wade resigned, but he’d already been paid at least $650,000 at that point in time.
Given how much the rather uninspiring Wade was paid, one can only imagine how many millions “Judge” Merchan’s daughter made from “consulting” for Democrats.
While Merchan may have avoided the same level of scrutiny as Willis, he basically won one small battle, only to ultimately lose the war.
Not only did Trump receive no punishment whatsoever, but he will now be president.
Meanwhile, Merchan’s “legacy” will be one of subverting and corrupting the American judicial system, and he is likely to never be taken seriously again.
Hope the witch hunt against Trump was worth it, Dems …
Especially as that witch hunt undoubtedly elevated Trump’s enormous gains amongst all voters … further eviscerating the Dems’ dwindling base.
And as long as the Dems persist in the same behavior, which they are still doing to this day, then conservatives’ gains will continue to soar well into the future.
