Biden DOJ Issues “Revised” Indictment Of Trump Over January 6

“Trump faces revised 2020 election interference charges.”

So proclaimed a BBC headline with regards to the latest charges that “Special Counsel” Jack Smith has filed against Trump.

He’s special, all right.

Especially in terms of his singular determination to apparently imprison the nation’s leading presidential candidate.

“US prosecutors have issued revised charges against Donald Trump for the former president’s alleged attempts to interfere in the 2020 election after losing the contest.

The updated wording tries to navigate a Supreme Court ruling that presidents have broad immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts. The ruling had thrown this case into doubt,” the BBC reported.

Well then.

When the Supreme Court ruled that presidents are entitled to immunity for official acts, one could already hear the Dems scrambling to drum up new indictments for Trump.

Heaven forbid they actually try to run an actual campaign based on policy, rather than constant efforts to incarcerate “the other guy.”

After all, such political weaponization is commonplace amongst nations throughout “the developing world,” which are run by indisputable dictatorships.

Alas, such campaign tactics are apparently now commonplace in the United States.

Hence the new and unimproved “indictment” against Trump, which has been “revised” to reflect the Supreme Court ruling.

“The new charging document – which was slimmed down from 45 to 36 pages – re-works the language of the allegations to respond to last month’s ruling on presidential immunity by the Supreme Court. It argues Trump acted as a private citizen – and not as president – when he undertook the alleged scheme to sway the election,” the BBC declared.

Right. Semantics, semantics … and all of it boils down to the left attempting to force Trump out of the race.

“The defendant had no official responsibilities related to the certification proceeding, but he did have a personal interest as a candidate in being named the winner of the election,” the indictment declared.

Or an interest in an accurate ballot count … not to mention interest in the free press, which wasn’t very free when it crushed the Hunter Biden story.

Even Zuckerberg admitted that the Biden-Harris administration bullied Facebook into submission over mass censorship, which he purportedly regrets.

“The revised indictment, brought by Department of Justice (DoJ) Special Counsel Jack Smith, leaves in place the four crimes Trump is accused of committing: conspiracy to defraud the US, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, attempting to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights … But these now relate to Trump’s status as a political candidate rather than a sitting president,” the BBC added.

Of course they do. Whatever semantic gymnastics the Dems can come up with to keep on keeping on with their pitiable weaponization of the justice system.

“Based on Crazy Nancy Pelosi’s taped admission to her daughter, ALL J6 CASES SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY DROPPED,” Trump proclaimed on Truth Social, including a link to a video wherein Pelosi claimed “full responsibility” for the events on Capitol Hill.

“I can’t believe the stupidity of this. And I take full responsibility,” Pelosi blared in the video clip.

Shame she isn’t taking responsibility now.
