At last, a CEO who isn’t afraid of being “cancelled.”
To be fair, the CEO is outgoing and leaving their position, but they sure aren’t leaving quietly.
Whole Foods founder and CEO John Mackey is stepping down from the CEO position of the grocery chain giant, but he isn’t doing so with the usual platitudes and empty talk about the future.
Instead, Mackey issued a very real warning based on the very real threats he sees barreling Americans’ way, especially in terms of the literally Marxist takeover of the nation.
“My concern is that I feel like socialists are taking over,” Mackey intoned.
In an interview with Reason magazine, Mackey let loose about all the different ways in which Mackey perceives the United States falling apart, much of which can be attributed to the nefarious aims of the far left.
“They’re marching through the institutions – they’re taking everything over. They’ve taken over education. It looks like they’ve taken over a lot of the corporations. It looks like they’ve taken over the military. And it’s just continuing,” Mackey remarked, crisply underscoring the deliberate weakening of the American state.
Which has been significantly aided and abetted by perhaps the most obvious puppet of all time, President Joe Biden.
When Obama once complained that Biden could effectively “mess up” any situation, he was likely alluding to the fact that Biden, on more than one occasion, just brazenly reveals the globalist agenda.
Obama, in other words, is slippery enough to be just another empty suit repeating the globalist mantra in public while keeping its operations secret, whereas Biden apparently can’t distinguish between what’s public and what’s private anymore.
After all, who could forget Biden boasting about how the United States has created “the largest and most inclusive voter fraud organization” in history, right before he mysteriously won 81 million votes in 2020?
Not to mention that the 2020 election effectively ushered in the greatest chaos America has seen in years, especially on the international front, where yet another war threatens to break out in the Pacific.
All the Chinese had to do was buy some “art” from Hunter Biden, who subsequently spends the proceeds on a variety of different activities, as his wife was recently spotted exiting a dispensary in California.
Needless to say, it’s easy for outrageous elites to usher in a socialist takeover when they are the principal beneficiaries, but it is nothing short of horror for a hardworking capitalist who values freedom and liberty, as Mackey does.
“I believe in liberty and capitalism. Those are my twin values,” Mackey continued, “and I feel like, you know, with the way freedom of speech is today, the movement on gun control, a lot of the liberties that I’ve taken for granted most of my life, I think, are under threat.”
Mackey also blasted the notion that capitalism was evil, countering that socialism was “trickle up poverty.”
“Capitalism is the greatest thing humanity’s ever done,” Mackey argued passionately, “we’ve told a bad narrative, and we’ve let the enemies of business and the enemies of capitalism put out a narrative about us that’s wrong, it’s inaccurate.”
It’s certainly inaccurate, though for psychopathic elites, brilliant in terms of brainwashing people.
Especially social media-addicted snowflakes.
“[The narrative is] doing tremendous damage to the minds of young people,” Mackey noted, who has undoubtedly witnessed this amongst Whole Foods employees.
Whole Foods made headlines not long ago for banning employees from wearing BLM masks, as the masks were not part of the uniform.
Predictably, employees sued, though they fortunately lost.
That event, however, was probably more than sufficient to convince Mackey of just how thoroughly indoctrinated and brainwashed many young Americans are, starting with public schools and continuing on through universities.
Universities in particular, which eagerly take big sums of money from China for so-called “Confucius Institutes” on campus.
Ridiculous, as the United States is absolutely not demonstrating similar, or any, influence on Chinese universities.
One can only hope the next Republican leader will seriously upend the dark trends in education, which absolutely underpin much of the chaos visible in society today.
