Dem Councilman Switches To Team Red – See Why …

Clearly, elites within the Democrat Party have become so arrogant that they fail to realize they severely alienate other Democrats who clearly have not pursued public office to become mega wealthy, a la Pelosi.

One such Democrat includes Ari Kagan, a city councilman from Brooklyn.

Or, more accurately, former Democrat Ari Kagan, as Kagan has recently switched to the Republican Party following the realization that Democrats can, but will not, address the issue of crime.

In large part because of their extreme lurch to the left, which they can afford with their private security and high walls that define their private residences, of course.

Speaking of which, that break-in at Pelosi’s home, a top-trending story right before the midterm elections, seems to have entirely died down, hasn’t it?

Strange.

Kagan, who actually attempts to represent his constituents, expressed clear dismay at the direction the Democrat Party was going.

“Over the last several years in my personal humble opinion, [the] Democratic Party in New York became moving to the left at such a speed that they could not even keep up,” Kagan remarked.

That’s what happens when utterly irresponsible, insatiably greedy individuals like AOC take the microphone.

“Every month I found myself like ‘what am I doing in the Democratic Party? In my own district, in southern Brooklyn, everywhere I knocked [on] the doors people saying, ‘when are you switching to the Republican Party?” Kagan continued.

Fair point. And, even fairer, Kagan clearly began to consider switching parties, especially in light of the fact that Democrats could care less about prosecuting criminals.

After all, who do you think is being enlisted as part of Democrats’ rather nefarious ballot harvesting schemes? Upstanding citizens?

Indeed, Democrats’ effective “no bail” policy is quite effective at providing them with a continuous pool of henchmen.

“And on issue after issue every year, every month, I started to feel that it’s not me leaving the Democratic Party, but [the] Democratic Party very quickly started to leave me. Especially on [the] most important issue of the day, public safety,” Kagan added.

Given that his constituents suffer the visceral effects of that terrible policy, it is little surprise that Kagan has now reached the conclusion that conservatives have long since reached, especially in the wake of the chaos that defined 2020.

“I believe right now, the Democratic Party is doing everything possible in New York City to make everybody less safe,” Kagan asserted.

Indeed it has.

Which is precisely why truly moderate Democrats, such as Kagan, have abruptly veered to Team Red.

Sadly, New York City is hardly the only blue city subsumed by violence.

As reported by The Daily Wire, Neil Patel, a gas station owner in Philadelphia, has become so “frustrated with rampant crime” that he has “employed armed guards to protect his business and customers.”

“Weeks after [Patel] hired the services of Pennsylvania S.I.T.E. State Agents, a private company, agents armed with long guns wearing tactical gear patrolling the KARCO gas station at Broad and Clearfield streets have become a regular sight, according to local reports,” the outlet reported.

Patel himself weighed in on the disastrous Democrat policies that have led the city to such a state of violence and crime.

“They are forcing us to hire the security, high-level security, state level. We are tired of this nonsense; robbery, drug trafficking, hanging around, gangs,” Patel exclaimed in disbelief.

“Drug trafficking,” “robbery,” and “gangs.”

Sounds exactly like some of the preferred activities of the (millions of) individuals streaming across the border now, the border that Biden just very publicly dismissed as “not important.”

Well, of course it is important to Democrats, but in a very different way than it is to individuals who actually love their nation.

Continuous border destruction, after all, could surely provide Democrats with several of the votes that they continue to lose from Americans.
