You know the Dems are getting really desperate when they propose a presidential candidate that’s even crazier than Kamala Harris.
In fact, the suggested candidate is even crazier than a joint ticket with Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi … though such a prospect would be admittedly horrifying.
Perhaps nothing, however, is as horrifying as an obnoxious former bartender – whose main claim to fame is extreme division – apparently being considered a top contender for 2028.
According to a recent report from The Hill, apparently none other than the former New York City bartender – Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez – is being considered a major league frontrunner for the presidential race in 2028.
Indeed, in a recent, highly publicized discussion, long-time pollster Nate Silver and former FiveThirtyEight podcast host Galen Druke mused about the alleged favorability of an AOC presidency, claiming that much is “in her favor.”
“I think there’s a lot of points in her favor at this very moment … In a Yale poll just out this week, [Ocasio-Cortez] has the highest net favorability rating of any of the Democrats that they asked about,” Druke blared.
Well, who knew? All AOC had to do to attract such “favorability” was apparently join a bunch of raging “Fight Oligarchy” tours, while are hilariously headlined by not only AOC, but by a long-term senator – Bernie Sanders – who chose to honeymoon in the ultimate “oligarchy” – the Soviet Union.
“I think there’s a lot of points in her favor at this very moment. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has broad appeal across the Democratic Party,” Druke mused.
Oh, yes.
Because AOC flying first class to scream and shout for a couple of hours to brainwashed college students is really the “change” the nation needs now.
Notably, AOC completely ignored other passengers who attempted to get her attention as she sat in a cabin distinctly elevated about everyone else.
Humorously, the New York Post noted that AOC used a $1,000 seat to “preach socialism.”
“I think equally important is the fact that she has very fervent support. I think a lot of people are gonna run in 2028 and it’s going to be a contest for attention and getting those sort of people who might be in your boat to turn out and stay with you through thick and thin,” Druke brayed.
Yeah. Kind of like the mindless zombies that were so obsessed with Sanders that they apparently voted in favor of Trump, rather than Clinton, in 2016.
And it looks like AOC sure is milking her presidential prospects already, given the ill-begotten millions she appears to have received.
According to a report from the New York Post, AOC succeeded in “an eye-watering $9.6 million during the first quarter of this year.”
And, of course, one of her spokesperson was sure to brag that the “average” donation was $21.
“News: AOC had her strongest ever quarter, raising over $9.5m from 266k individual donors for an average of just $21. AOC doesn’t take a dollar from lobbyists or corporate PACS. Our top donor professions are teachers and nurses. 64% were first time contributors,” Hidalgo-Wohleben bragged on X.
Uh huh.
Rather odd, considering AOC wore a $35,000 “Tax the Rich” dress to some celebrity-laden gala a few years ago.
A dress designed by a tax dodger, no less.
Naturally, AOC is rising in popularity due to the division she’s deliberately causing, most recently by bashing Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Schumer, quite frankly, is probably less corrupt than AOC is, and he certainly was never gallivanting with celebrities at various “galas.”
That said, AOC counts on her followers having small memories, as well as reacting with rage to whoever she says to rage against.
And most recently, AOC raged at Schumer for daring to agree with Trump by not shutting the government down.
“I believe that’s a tremendous mistake. This turns the federal government into a slush fund for Donald Trump and Elon Musk. It sacrifices congressional authority, and it is deeply partisan,” AOC raged.
Easy for AOC to say. After all, she’s not a TSA employee that actually depends on the government running for her paycheck.
Especially when she’s collecting upwards of $10M per quarter from dubious sources.
Perhaps one of the biggest red flags of all is the fact that Sanders is openly referring to AOC as his “daughter.
“Now I want to say a word about my daughter,” Sanders boomed at the start of one rally.
Yikes.
If the Democrats are smart, they will follow the pollster’s other advice.
“In the past three nomination races … you kind of have this compromise candidate where you have the moderates and you have the progressives and you get kind of somewhere in the middle. If you’re not going to pick an AOC … then maybe go to someone who’s fully moderate, ‘electable,’” Silver declared.
Alas, that would be too simple of a solution for the ailing Democrats … and if their main “frontrunners” are Sanders and AOC now, it’s tough to say how long the party will last in its current form.
