“A Georgia appeals court has set an October date for hearing the sensational appeal of a ruling that let Fulton County DA stay on the Donald Trump case, essentially guaranteeing Trump won’t be tried there before the election.
The news, which comes days after a Manhattan jury convicted Trump on 34 counts in his Stormy Daniels trial, is just the latest break for Trump in his three other trials,” the Daily Mail reported.
That’s right.
As another major break included a $200M fundraising bonanza that unfolded over three days, underscoring Americans’ distaste for political witch hunts through a weaponized judicial system.
Originally, Trump was supposed to face charges of allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election on March 4.
However, Ms. Willis’s little affair was exposed, which revealed how she had squandered substantial taxpayer resources on the appointment of her lover, Nathan Wade, to a special prosecutorial position.
Naturally, that revelation threw the case into chaos, and though Wade stepped down, Willis controversially remained.
Wade clearly saw no wrongdoing on his end, however, actually claiming that his relationship with Willis is “American.”
“Workplace romances are as American as apple pie,” Wade proclaimed on mainstream media outlet ABC.
Oh, are they? Well not all “workplace romances” are fueled by lavish, taxpayer-funded vacations to Northern California, nor hundreds of thousands of dollars paid to Wade from taxpayer revenues.
In particular workplace romances that involve the weaponization of the court system against a former president, a blatant move straight out of a banana republic.
Representative Jim Jordan called out Willis for using taxpayer funds to compensate Wade in his call for Wade to testify.
“The committee understands that Ms. Willis reportedly compensated you and financed her politically motivated prosecution using a mixture of taxpayer funds, possibly including part of the $14.6 million in federal grant funds that her office received from the Department of Justice between 2020 and 2023,” Jordan declared.
Wow. Three years is a long time to ride the American taxpayer gravy train while weaponizing the court system against a top presidential candidate.
So, no, Mr. Wade, your little romance is not “as American as apple pie.”
Willis astonishingly still remained on the case, despite all that, though now her little witch hunt against Trump has been endlessly delayed due to the court’s decision that led to another court victory for Trump, in that he is highly unlikely to face any kind of “trial” in Georgia before the election.
Unless, of course, the O’Biden brigade attacks the judicial system in another inane way in its deranged attempts to “Get Trump.”
