All Dems have gone a bit bonkers in the wake of President Donald Trump’s crushing electoral and popular vote victory over Comrade Kamala.
However, perhaps California Governor Gavin Gruesome has gone particularly nuts after Trump’s rightful victory, which is especially evident in his embittered commentary following the election.
“The freedoms we hold dear in California are under attack – and we won’t sit idle. Kamala Harris set out to fight to defend our fundamental freedoms and build a country that works for everyone. She stood up for working families, decency, and opportunity. Though this is not the outcome we wanted, our fight for freedom and opportunity endures,” Newsom ranted.
Oh please, Mr. Newsom. As if Comrade Kamala was ever in the election for anyone but herself.
After all, she shamelessly blew tens of millions on other multimillionaires and billionaires, failing to understand why such moves would not exactly resonate with a cash-strapped American public.
On top of that, Comrade Kamala was also sure to campaign on the so-called “politics of joy,” which is not exactly a resounding message in favor of sound policy.
On the contrary, the phrasing surrounding the “politics of joy” was not only an insult to the very real attribute of joy, but it was also as fluffy and inconsequential as the Dems’ campaign itself.
Which would be why Harris epically lost.
That said, Newsom has continued on in his embittered commentary, apparently failing to do any self-reflection whatsoever, much like other beleaguered Democrats.
Not to mention his embittered efforts to apparently “Trump proof” California, perhaps one of the most pitiable Dem-driven efforts against democracy to date.
And, apparently, Newsom has already blown at least $25M in an effort to “Trump proof” his diehard sanctuary state.
“’The new litigation fund will help safeguard critical funding for disaster relief, health care, and other vital services that millions of Californians depend on daily,” Newsom brayed.
Sure it will. More like safeguard the continued raiding of the state piggy bank by various unscrupulous politicians.
Newsom also claimed that the $25M fund would supposedly “defend against unlawful federal actions that could jeopardize not only tangible resources and the state´s economy.”
With respect, Newsom, nothing torpedoed California’s economy quite like the Democrats did, especially during their bizarre COVID policies, followed by equally ridiculous “minimum wage” policies.
Perhaps Newsom should “Dem proof” the state before “Trump proofing” it, but that would be far too logical.
