Hollywood Legend Backs Calls To Remove Governor Gruesome From Office

Looks like the Dems might want to reconsider putting up Governor Gruesome as a viable 2028 presidential candidate, despite how much he’s clearly been chomping at the bit to pursue to Oval Office.

Especially as the leader of the former golden state may well be making dubious history, yet again, for facing a second recall election.

According to a report from the New York Post, SavingCalifornia.com has “received the official green light to begin circulating a petition to hold a recall election.”

And it’s no surprise whatsoever, given the issues that the organization has highlighted on its official webpage, which range from an out of control homeless crisis to out of control wildfires.

“[The organization] will have 160 days to gather around 15 million signatures — 12% of the total votes in the last gubernatorial election — to win a recall vote,” the New York Post reported.

Naturally, Newsom’s office is outraged while others are thrilled.

“This time they’ve sunk to a new low – exploiting the victims of the LA fires for political gain. Here’s the worst part: Their partisan recall will waste 200 million taxpayer dollars desperately needed for emergency preparedness and response,” Newsom’s office angrily remarked.

Right.

Or the organization is attempting to save California from clearly horrendous leadership, which apparently can’t even manage to keep fire hydrants thrilled.

Joe Garolfoli of the San Francisco Chronicle offered a similarly uninspiring defense, merely arguing that that “the latest Gavin Newsom recall attempt is the most pointless yet.”

Is it?

After all, having not one, but two recall attempts launched against one’s governorship suggests that the governor is widely unpopular amongst many, for a reason.

And those many individuals include high-level Hollywood actors who are clearly sick of all the nonsense.

One such actor includes Mel Gibson, who accused Newsom of “criminal negligence” for his detrimental role during the Los Angeles wildfires.

“There are many who say it is criminal negligence. Do the mayor and the governor give a damn about you? Hell no!” Gibson declared.

A separate report from Fox News further highlights Gibson’s rage towards Newsom, as he argues there is “absolutely no adequate excuse” for the disastrous way in which the wildfires unfolded.

“We deserve much more and much better, and there is absolutely no adequate excuse the governor or mayor can make for this gross mismanagement and failure to preemptively deal with what they knew was coming,” Gibson asserted.

“Was it incompetence? Was it indifference, complacency, carelessness? Was it negligence? Absolutely,” Gibson continued.

“Arrogance” would probably align with those other traits as well.

“A lot of people have left, and I don’t blame them. It didn’t suit them anymore. Even … people who were liberal, it didn’t suit them anymore. But if everybody leaves, what’s going to happen?” Gibson continued.

Well, the state will probably continue being taken over by drug cartels and communist interests.

That’s what’s likely to happen.

“[People] are going somewhere else because it’s more cost-effective. There [are] just a lot of prohibitive regulations and things in the way that I think could be lifted … But I think it can be fixed,” Gibson continued.

Well, perhaps Gibson should consider making a run for the governor’s seat, in that case.

As he’s clearly far more attuned to the needs of Californians than clueless Newsom will ever be …
