Economist and professor Jeffrey Sachs may want to watch his back following his rather scathing remarks on the United States government.
Sachs, who is ironically employed at Columbia University, has apparently decided to say what few other academics are saying – which is that the government is unbelievably corrupt.
In fact, the government is so corrupt that it apparently “smirks” in Americans’ faces while telling them they are “nothing,” according to Sachs’s diatribe.
“The thing that gets me about Washington is they don’t feel they have to respond to anything and you watch the spokespeople… they smirk! Right in your face to tell you [that] you are nothing! We can tell anything to you! They smirk!” Sachs declared.
Do they ever. Heck, Kamala doesn’t even bother to master a smirk, a la Pelosi … she just shamelessly cackles.
Needless to say, Sachs is rather unimpressed by the government’s less than forthcoming nature about the COVID pandemic.
Not to mention rather brazen in its pathetic coverups, including virtually no real information from the FBI regarding the Trump shooting.
Indeed, Special Agent Kevin Rojek, who is in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh office, still claims that no motive can be found for the assassin’s attempt, despite weeks of supposed investigation.
“We have a clear idea of mindset, but we are not ready to make any conclusive statements regarding motive at this time,” Rojek remarked crisply, without any further explanation.
Is that so? Clearly, the FBI is waiting on Americans to apparently “forget” about the assassination attempt, which Sachs also noted.
“Assassination attempt on Trump, isn’t that weeks ago? That’s old news, we don’t even talk about that anymore! We have no attention span, we have complete lying from the government, we have secrecy and confidentiality, so we never solve any of these issues,” Sachs declared.
Exactly like the deranged Democrats intend.
At least Columbia University has made the news for something other than rabid, antisemitic protests … spearheaded by multiple individuals who may not even be students.
Indeed, it’s amazing that anyone with any sense at all is still associated with the hateful institution, especially as it took an inordinate amount of time for the rather troubling president to resign.
After letting the campus be subject to complete chaos for weeks on end … and after driving down enrollment of Jewish students to record low levels.
That said, it remains unknown how long even Sachs may retain favor at Columbia, given that it’s hardly become known as a beacon of freedom and critical thought.
More like a haven for rabid, anti-American Marxists masquerading as “students,” alongside the militant faculty and administration who gleefully support them.
One can only hope that Sachs’s sentiments make more airwaves than their hate does, but unfortunately, the mainstream media does not seem terribly interested in anything that goes against the narrative.
