According to a stunning report from the New York Post, a watchdog group – Open the Books – determined that Fauci’s net worth nearly doubled over the course of the pandemic.
Specifically, Fauci’s net worth was approximately $7.6M in January 2019, just before the COVID pandemic … but by the end of 2023, Fauci’s net worth had curiously increased to a staggering $15M.
Indeed, that is quite the gain over four years’ time, especially when accounting for the fact that the economy was in a total freefall.
John Hart, who serves as the CEO of Open the Books, noted the curious timing of Fauci’s massive, multimillion dollar gain, especially during “the worst of draconian” lockdown measures.
“Dr. Fauci’s assets soared during the worst of the draconian Covid lockdowns while families and small businesses struggled through school closures and lost income,” Hart declared.
Naturally, seems a tad sinister that a period of great misfortune for the world was simultaneously a period of immense gains for the elites, including top-level government bureaucrats and private sector billionaires.
In particular the bureaucrats and billionaires who stood to gain handsomely from the pandemic.
After all, bureaucrats had the opportunity to play mini-dictators, while billionaires had the opportunity to crush small- and medium-sized businesses that could not survive under the government’s draconian measures.
Little wonder that government bureaucrats and elitist billionaires go hand in hand.

Despite the fact that Open the Books published a 141-page report, which is heavily documented and detailed, very few media outlets have paid attention to the story.
In fact, very few media outlets have mentioned the story at all, and that is rather telling, to put it mildly.
Then again, Fauci might serve as the precise target for entities seeking to eliminate government waste, given that he was the highest paid government bureaucrat in the federal government.
In fact, Fauci’s salary exceeded the salary of the president by 20 percent … While the president makes $400,000 per year (assuming they take their salary), Fauci made just over $480,000 during his final year of “service” to the American people.
To be fair, however, university presidents at elitist institutions can make multiple millions, which is arguably even more of a joke.
In particular the elitist institutions that allow effectively pro-Hamas protests.
That said, Fauci still was sitting quite pretty financially after an entire career in public “service.”
Rather amazingly, Fauci continued to rake in big bucks even after his retirement … though his wife remained a so-called “bioethicist” at the National Institutes of Health.
Amusingly, Hart remarked upon this seeming “coincidence” as well.
“Now it’s clear the cash kept coming during his first year of ‘retirement.’ He was rubbing elbows with groups like [America’s Health Insurance Plans] flanked by taxpayer-funded security – even as his wife remained the top bioethicist at [the National Institutes of Health],” Hart wryly remarked.
Well then.
It would appear that if any famed government bureaucrat is guilty of excessive waste, Fauci would race to the top of the list.
With any luck, government fraud and waste will eventually become the exception, rather than the rule.
