Noem Takes A Stand For American Land

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is on a roll!

Not only has her statewide ban of Beijing-owned TikTok inspired other states to follow a similar course of action, but she has also now made another move intended to counteract the rapidly rising influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) across the United States.

Specifically, Noem recently banned China from purchasing new farmland across the United States, as detailed in a press release .

“With this new process, we will be able to prevent nations who hate us – like Communist China – from buying up our state’s agriculture land. We cannot allow the Chinese Communist Party to continue to buy up our nation’s food supply, so South Dakota will lead the charge on this vital national security issue,” Noem intoned.

Smart move. Especially with the globalists chirping away about everyone else eating crickets while they dine on caviar.

Representative-elect Gary Cammack indicated clear approval for Noem’s plan, underscoring the “vital” natural security issues at stake.

“With vital national security resources like Ellsworth Air Force Base, we cannot afford for our enemies to purchase land in South Dakota. We want to keep this land in the hands of South Dakota agriculture producers. I look forward to working with Governor Noem and my colleagues to guarantee the continued security of our state and nation,” Cammack declared.

Seriously. Who knows what kind of mass surveillance the Chinese would attempt to set up around the Air Force base.

Senator Erin Tobin provided additional insight into the important benefits that Noem’s move will have for the near-term and long-term, especially in terms of maintaining a vital food supply.

“For those of us who have lived and worked on the land, we know that it’s our past, but also our future. We grow the world’s food, and we need to protect the security of that food supply for our kids,” Tobin remarked.

Especially when that supply is under constant threat from ill-advised government policies.

Representative Dusty Johnson noted that food security is akin to national security, especially if American farmland could be literally weaponized against Americans.

“Food security is national security. When it comes to people who announce themselves as enemies of the United States, we should not be giving them power over us,” Johnson asserted.

“I don’t think we would have let, in the 1980s, the Soviets come in and purchase critical parts of American infrastructure, particularly related to food. I don’t think we should let the Chinese do it now either,” Johnson remarked.

No kidding.

Which makes several wonder why the situation should be any different with China …
