Panicked Democrats Swarm Behind Surprisingly Pro-Trump Candidate

“[Zohran Mamdani] is a snake oil salesman … He would say and do anything to get elected.”

So declared New York City Mayor Eric Adams with regards to the radical, Ugandan-born Mamdani, who inexplicably beat former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in a shock upset.

And while Mamdani may have earned the praise of perennially controversial Senator Bernie Sanders – who gleefully claimed that mainstream Democrats are going down “like the Titanic” – it would appear that other hardworking, taxpaying individuals are not as enthused.

According to a report from The Hill, Adams is gearing up to face off with Mamdani, especially as he believes that Cuomo simply has not expressed the energy necessary for winning the mayoral race.

“[Cuomo], at this time, should realize that the time has moved on. He just did not bring the energy of wanting to be mayor,” Adams declared.

Adams then proceeded to outline all the ways in which Mamdani would be a disaster for a deeply beleaguered city, which has become a steadily worsening basket case over the years.

And that basket case will surely worsen if different New Yorkers are hammered by the economic illiteracy of Mamdani.

“You are going to get those grandmothers, those granddads, those working-class people who are going to come out because they realize they don’t want to defund their police department. They want the police on their block. They realize that you have to invest in businesses. And small property owners are hurting in this city, when you talk about freeze rent and no rent,” Adams asserted.

Moreover, Mamdani did not exactly grow up experiencing financial struggle … quite the reverse.

Adams justifiably takes major issue with the fact that Mamdani hails from a privileged background, not the “working class” façade he apparently attempted to put up to voters.

As noted by the New York Post, Adams recalls a face-to-face meeting with Mamdani in the past, in which it was made very clear that Mamani comes from “wealth.”

“This guy is not some working-class, hard-working person. He comes from wealth,” Adams irritably remarked.

Which makes his economic mania all the more irksome.

“They come from wealth. And when you come from wealth, it’s easy to just throw out, ‘We should just be giving everything away.’ That’s just not reality,” Adams added.

Indeed, it is not.

No matter how much Sanders likes to prattle on such an imaginary utopia.

“What Mamdani and I and others are talking about is the kind of change that benefits the working class of this country and is prepared to take on the billionaire class that has never, ever had it so good. That’s what the fight is about,” Sanders asserted.

Well, Sanders, you might need to keep on “fighting” … as it would appear New Yorkers who actually work for a living are hardly inclined to support the blatantly racist rhetoric of Mamdani.

Not to mention the radical’s well-documented praise of major funders to Hamas … which he actually recordedon video.

Little wonder that numerous New Yorkers – many of whom are Democrats – are reportedly pouring money into Adams’s coffers in a bid to help him become mayor again.

“With Cuomo out, people are coming to Adams with oodles of cash … People are afraid of this guy, and they don’t want Times Square to become Red Square,” one source remarked in an exclusive New York Post report.

Even President Donald Trump has jumped in to voice his opinion, making it rather clear he backs Adams over Mamdani.

“I helped him out a little bit,” Trump remarked coyly, in reference to having the Department of Justice (DOJ) drop the Biden administration’s investigation into Adams.

Notably, that investigation began after Adams drew attention to the migrant crisis in New York City.

Now that Adams has been cleared by the DOJ, it would appear that he is intent on clearing New York City from major league Marxist threats.
