Texas Congresswoman Blasted for Reckless Trump Accusations

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas is once again making headlines, not for offering solutions, but for spreading dangerous lies and stirring up division. In a recent livestream, she claimed that President Donald Trump is somehow responsible for black Americans being “strung up” in the South. Her statements are not only false—they’re reckless. And they show just how far some on the left are willing to go to keep Americans afraid, divided, and distracted.

Let’s break this down clearly.

First, Crockett’s claim that black Americans are being lynched in the South today is simply not supported by the facts. In September of this year, two men were found hanging from trees in Mississippi—tragic events, no doubt. But a full investigation and an autopsy found that one of those deaths, that of a young black man named Demartravion Reed, was a suicide, not a lynching. Making such a serious accusation without evidence is not just irresponsible—it’s cruel to the families involved and harmful to the public.

Yet Crockett didn’t stop there. She accused President Trump of “emboldening hate” and claimed he inspires violence. That’s rich coming from someone who refuses to condemn violence against conservatives. President Trump has been the target of not one, but two assassination attempts in the last year. Meanwhile, conservative leader Charlie Kirk was murdered in cold blood during a peaceful event at a college campus. Crockett couldn’t even bring herself to honor him after his death—she called him a “Confederate” and criticized those who voted to condemn his killing.

This is a pattern with Congresswoman Crockett. She’s compared Trump supporters to the mentally ill. She’s compared ICE agents—who risk their lives to enforce the law—to slave patrols. She’s mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott for using a wheelchair. And she’s defended comparisons of President Trump to Adolf Hitler. These are not the words of a serious leader. They are the tactics of someone who wants to divide Americans by race, by party, and by fear.

Watch her comments for yourself:

Now let’s step back and remember what our Founders believed. They gave us a Constitution that protects the rights of all people—black, white, rich, poor, liberal, and conservative. They believed in equal justice under law, not in punishment based on party or race. The government’s job is to secure our God-given rights, not to stir up hatred or suspicion.

But that’s exactly what Crockett is doing. She’s not interested in facts or justice. She’s interested in power. And she’s using fear to try and get it. By telling Americans that racism is worse than ever, that lynchings are back, and that President Trump is to blame, she’s trying to keep people angry and afraid. That way, she and her allies on the far left can justify more government control, more censorship, and more attacks on conservatives.

Let’s be clear: America is not perfect, and we must always strive to do better. But we are not the country Crockett describes. We are a nation under God, built on liberty and equal justice. Most Americans—black and white—want peace, fairness, and opportunity. They don’t want to be divided by race or lied to by politicians.

It’s time to demand better from our leaders. The truth still matters. Facts still matter. And character still matters.

Congresswoman Crockett’s words are a disgrace to the office she holds. It’s time for the American people to reject this kind of poisonous rhetoric and return to the values that made this nation strong: truth, liberty, and justice for all.
