“We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright.”
So declared Vivek Ramaswamy during a recent appearance on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo.
Frankly, Ramaswamy’s proposal is perhaps one of the most innovative policies Americans have heard in years.
After all, many government agencies – from the IRS to the Department of “Education” – have been inefficient at best and dangerous at worst.
Indeed, the so-called Department of “Education” appears to have absolutely excelled in turning younger generations of Americans into militant little Marxists … as evidenced by the continued pro-terrorist sentiment amongst many “educated” college students.
In addition, Ramaswamy’s effective sledgehammer to various federal agencies is also an appropriate response to the repeatedly inept executive branch, particularly under bungling Biden.
“The failures of the executive branch need to be addressed because the dirty little secret right now is the people we elect to run the government, they’re not the ones who actually run the government. It’s the unelected bureaucrats in the administrative state that was created through executive action. It’s going to be fixed through executive action,” Ramaswamy proclaimed.
Indeed.
And, before the mainstream media goes utterly ballistic, it is worthwhile to consider the Supreme Court’s views on bloated government, which have been rather clearly expressed over the years.
“Think about the Supreme Court’s environment. Over the last several years, they’ve held that many of those regulations are unconstitutional at a large scale. Rescind those regulations, pull those regs back, and then that gives us the industrial logic to then downsize the size of that administrative state. And the beauty of all of this is that can be achieved just through executive action without Congress. Score some early wins, and then you look at those bigger portions of the federal budget that need to be addressed one by one,” Ramaswamy continued.
In other words, Ramaswamy’s declarations are hardly “a threat to democracy” … on the contrary, they are well aligned with the Supreme Court’s own interpretation of the law.
Moreover, Ramaswamy is also intent on returning the nation back to its original self-governing roots … which do not include the likes of multi-gazillionaire political elitists, such as Pelosi.
Though at least her arrogance played a large role in the Dems’ epic election loss.
“This is about restoring self-governance and accountability in America as well. Elected leaders, if they make the wrong decisions, voters have a great choice. You can vote them out and remove them,” Ramaswamy continued.
Absolutely! After all, why on earth should faceless, deeply overpaid bureaucrats, many of whom are DEI hires, have such tremendous influence over hardworking Americans’ lives?
“Most of the people making these decisions from health care to the Department of Defense are failing on effectiveness because they have no accountability. Historically, it’s been the view of many scholars to say that those people could not even be fired. Now we take a different view with the environment the Supreme Court has given us in recent years, and we’re going to use that in a pretty extensive way to move quickly,” Ramaswamy continued.
Boy, is that ever true. Especially when accounting for the frightening lack of accountability amongst the military-industrial complex.
“We expect massive cuts among federal contractors and others who are overbilling the federal government … I think people will be surprised by, I think, how quickly we’re able to move,” Ramaswamy continued.
That’s for certain. Especially as the Republicans will control the presidency, the Senate, and the House over the next several years.
A “fact” that the teeth-gnashing Dems appear to have forgotten.
“Government 101: No federal agencies will be ‘deleted’ without an Act of Congress. The President cannot undue by executive order what Congress has done by statute. Congress, not the President, is the final word on the fate of federal agencies,” Democrat Ritchie Torres proclaimed on X.
Well, Mr. Torres, it appears that the House and the Senate are under the control of Republicans, so perhaps such an “act” may well be passed prior to 2026.
Especially as the voters clearly did not vote for the status quo, otherwise known as “incremental change.”
Which Ramaswamy also highlighted.
“They haven’t voted for incremental change here this time … We have voted for sweeping change, and the voters actually deserve to get it. And we’re focused on how to do that as early and as quickly as possible,” Ramaswamy boomed.
Frankly, they can’t get started soon enough.
