The FBI has recently made headlines, yet again, for all the wrong reasons.
Indeed, a number of Republicans were shocked to discover that the FBI swooped into the Trump rally shooting investigation with the same speed and intensity of a missile.
Especially when such intensity apparently led to the direct tampering with evidence, much to the horror of Louisiana Representative Clay Higgins.
Higgins was especially dismayed by the fact that the FBI had apparently cremated the body of the Trump shooter before he could examine the body for himself … despite having already received implicit permission to do so as part of his investigation into what happened.
The FBI, however, appeared indifferent to the fact that Higgins has the right to seek evidence as needed throughout his investigation, and they promptly cremated the body of Crooks without even consulting Higgins.
“My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite a stir and revealed a disturbing fact… the FBI released the body for cremation 10 days after J13 … On J23, Crooks was gone. Nobody knew this until Monday, August 5, including the County Coroner, law enforcement, [and] Sheriff,” Higgins noted in his report, alongside a number of other discrepancies.
Including the FBI’s destruction of other biological evidence that had been present at the scene.
“The FBI cleaned up biological evidence from the crime scene, which is unheard of … Cops don’t do that, ever,” Higgins added.
And now, it seems that Higgins, who released his preliminary report all of two weeks ago, is being supported by others present at the rally.
In particular the counter-snipers, who have agreed with the GOP about the rather troubling nature of the FBI investigation to date.
In particular the clear tampering with evidence, though the degree of negative intention in the tampering remains unclear.
Per a striking report from the New York Post, also known as the media outlet to have broken the Hunter Biden laptop story, the FBI is engaged in quite a few antics that are highly suspicious, to say the least.
According to the New York Post, Washington Regional SWAT counter-sniper Ben Shaffer recently admitted in a panel discussion with Republicans that it was “absolutely” concerning that the body of the shooter had been rapidly cremated, especially when accounting for the fact that the roof of the AGR International Building had been as well.
“Do you find it odd that literally only days after the attempted assassination on President Donald J. Trump, while the roof was too sloped to place individuals for counter-sniper operations, that it wasn’t too sloped of a roof for the FBI to go ahead and tamper, in my opinion, with evidence by washing the roof off that may have had significant evidence on it?” Florida Representative Cory Mills inquired.
“Yes, I do,” Shaffer replied confidently.
“Do you also find it odd … that the body of Matthew Crooks had not only been released and cremated — but that the coroner who’s responsible for releasing the body had no knowledge of it?” Mills continued.
“Yes, absolutely,” Shaffer replied.
“It sounds like destruction of evidence,” Erik Prince, a former Navy SEAL, added.
Shaffer did not disagree with Prince’s assessment.
One thing is for certain, as the Trump investigation continues to unfold … it is clear that more than one entity has a vested interest in destroying all the real evidence before the Republicans, or any other interested parties, can get their hands on it.
A rather troubling development. After all, wouldn’t the FBI want to know how a shooter managed to evade so many security protocols to get within striking distance of Trump in the first place?
Or … is there a bigger story that the agency is intent on hiding?
Time will tell …
