Trump Strikes Back: Fighting Anti-Christian Bias in Government

President Trump has once again taken a bold step to defend one of the most important rights in our nation: the freedom of religion. A new report from the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias shows just how far the Biden administration went in using the federal government against Christians. This is not just troubling—it goes against the very heart of what America stands for.

The First Amendment of the Constitution protects every American’s right to practice their faith freely. Our founders knew that faith is not something the government gives us—it is something God gives us. That’s why they made religious liberty one of the first rights listed in the Bill of Rights. But under Joe Biden, federal agencies were told to treat Christian faith like a problem. President Trump is working to make sure that never happens again.

The task force, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, was formed to find and stop any unlawful actions or unfair policies that targeted Christians. Their first report, just released, shows a pattern of anti-Christian bias across many parts of the federal government during Biden’s time in office.

For example, the Department of Defense and the Labor Department denied many requests for religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine. Christians who asked for these exemptions were often ignored or punished, even though their faith should have been respected under the law.

In education, the Biden administration tried to crush some of the largest Christian universities in the country with huge fines. These schools were not breaking the law—they were simply standing by their religious beliefs. Yet the government treated them like criminals.

The Department of Homeland Security gave special attention to some religious groups, but left out Christian voices when writing rules for border agents. This shows a clear double standard. All faiths should be respected equally, not just the ones that fit the government’s agenda.

Even worse, the FBI labeled some Catholics as “domestic terrorists” just because of their traditional beliefs. This is shocking. The government should never treat peaceful religious believers like threats just because of what they believe.

The Department of Justice also showed little interest in protecting Christians when their rights were violated. Instead, they pushed new legal theories to go after people who were simply living out their faith. That is not justice—that is bias.

The report also found that the Treasury Department and State Department treated Christian groups unfairly. These agencies denied them banking services and gave more help to non-Christian charities overseas. Meanwhile, the Department of Housing and Urban Development took down faith-based programs that had helped poor families for years.

These are not small mistakes. These are serious abuses of power. When the government picks winners and losers based on religion, it breaks the trust of the people and the limits of the Constitution.

Thankfully, President Trump has acted swiftly. He signed an executive order to create a White House Faith Office to support churches, faith-based groups, and communities. This office will help make sure that people of faith are never ignored again.

Attorney General Bondi and the task force have made it clear: the federal government will not be allowed to turn its power against Christians ever again. Their work is far from finished. A full report is due in early 2026, and it will likely uncover even more examples of how the Biden administration crossed the line.

In America, faith is not a problem. Faith is a gift. And it is protected by law. We must make sure that no future president—no matter the party—can ever use government power to silence or punish people of faith.

President Trump is restoring the rule of law and putting faith back in its rightful place: respected, protected, and never under attack. That is the American way. That is what our Constitution demands. And that is what the people deserve.
