Leave it to Dems to outdo one another in terms of all the freebies they like to hand out to illegals.
Indeed, Housing Subcommittee Republican Vice Chair Joe Aragona has shredded woke Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer for her apparent allegiance to illegal migrants.
Even though it comes at the grave expense of taxpayers’ wallets.
“Gretchen Whitmer’s rent subsidy program makes handouts available to illegal aliens who were caught in the country and then claimed asylum to avoid deportation,” Aragona proclaimed.
Pretty despicable, really. After all, there are some individuals who claim legitimate asylum, and those are also individuals who may well add to the economy.
Alas, under the Biden regime, individuals claiming asylum are oftentimes cartel members or other criminals, likely claiming “asylum” from rival gangs.
And, pitiably, those criminals are now enjoying major league rental assistance, courtesy of the beleaguered taxpayer.
“They could get a year of taxpayer-funded housing – an incentive to stay in the country and in Michigan after making a frivolous asylum claim. Michiganders shouldn’t have their dollars taken to reward those who broke our immigration laws,” Aragona continued.
No, they shouldn’t.
And what’s even more despicable is that Whitmer, much like other pro-illegal migration Dems, will soon be demanding FEMA assistance for her own pitiable sanctuary policies.
FEMA assistance that’s funded by all taxpayers, which means that even individuals in non-sanctuary states may unwittingly be on the hook for paying blatant migrant leeches.
“Our system is bogged down with fake asylum-seekers …There are many people who are here as refugees because it’s dangerous for them to go back. But fake asylum seekers are just taking advantage of a legal loophole, and they could now be getting their housing paid. That’s not fair to American citizens, that’s not fair to refugees who immigrated legally to escape danger, and that’s not fair to families who are struggling to pay their own bills,” Aragona added.
Given that BLM is a fake charity, it’s not surprising that illegals are claiming fake asylum.
After all, they’ve learned well from TikTok.
House Republican Leader Matt Hall also chimed in about the destructive nature of Democrat policies, demonstrating clear disgust with the “careless” attitude they have adopted.
“Americans watch with horror as Democrats respond with carelessness to our border crisis – a humanitarian disaster that results in violent crimes right here in Michigan,” Hall observed.
They’ll be watching with even more horror as illegals sway the presidential election.
Heck, if they can fly without ID, it’s not surprising they will likely vote without ID as well.
All the more reason for the electoral college to remain in place.
“Joe Biden refuses to secure the border and faithfully execute our laws. Gretchen Whitmer is offering taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal aliens who got caught after entering our country. These politicians must stop aiding and abetting illegal aliens and get serious about securing our border and keeping people safe,” Hall continued.
Indeed, they must.
But Democrats can’t build any kind of reliable voter base on sound policy, outside of endless freebies and chronic crime.
So, it is only natural that they turn to a sound reliance on perpetual criminality instead, all on the taxpayers’ dime.
