1,000+ Migrants Storm The Border

While the border has been in chaos ever since Biden took over, some incidents are more egregious than others.

One such incident includes 1,000+ migrants attempting to surge past border control.

“A group of at least 1,000 migrants rushed the Paso Del Norte bridge linking Mexico to the U.S. in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday, to gain access into the United States … Customs and Border Protection increased manpower in the area on the U.S. side, while the Mexican military attempted to contain the incident on the southern side of the bridge,” Fox News reported.

“Attempted to contain.” Scary.

The most recent border storming should come as no surprise, in light of policies recently passed in massively leftist cities.

When it comes to destroying national security, woke cities appear to pose more imminent danger than literally any other enemy, especially when accounting for the increasingly asinine policies that emanate from the upper echelons of their governance.

Los Angeles, in a clear effort compete with ultra-woke Portland and Seattle, has apparently decided to codify utterly illegal immigration protocols, namely by formalizing sanctuary cities and openly admitting that illegals vote in droves.

Members of the woke Los Angeles City Council, namely Eunisses Hernandez, Hugo Soto-Martinez and Nithya Raman, are responsible for introducing policy to “permanently enshrine sanctuary policies into city law.

“Today, I stood alongside @cd4losangeles and @cd13losangeles to introduce legislation to draft an ordinance to permanently enshrine sanctuary policies into city law to make sure city resources, property, or personnel are never used by or for ICE …

As a proud daughter of immigrants, I’ve seen firsthand the ways immigrants have made Los Angeles the diverse and flourishing city that it is. It’s long past time that our city steps up to protect our undocumented migrants,” Hernandez asserted.

Oh, isn’t that nice.

And how frequently does Hernandez have to deal with the violent aftermath of her decisions? How often do any of her colleagues ever face the real consequences of the dangerous policies they pass?

Starting with the destruction of democracy by permitting illegal aliens to vote.

Other councilmembers chimed in with equal inanity.

“Immigrants make up the very fabric of L.A. Prohibiting the use of city resources for federal immigration enforcement shouldn’t depend on executive actions that can be overturned by a future administration. These are fundamental protections that should be enshrined in our laws,” Raman proclaimed.

Oh, heaven forbid an executive administration comes in that actually wants to enforce federal immigration laws, thereby enhancing national security! Blue cities can’t have that.

Another councilmember, Curren D. Price, was also quite vocal about his support for sanctuary cities, as evidenced from his stream of tweets regarding the issue.

“Today I joined four of my colleagues in taking an important step to ensure Los Angeles continues to be a City of Sanctuary. It is time there is an ordinance in place that would prohibit the use of City resources and personnel for immigration enforcement,” Price declared, echoing Raman’s asinine assertions.

Charming. Way to waste more taxpayers’ monies.

“I look forward to ironing out the details of this ordinance and the day when it is written into law. Over the years, I have been a longstanding advocate of immigrant families in my District, securing millions of dollars to defend mixed-status families,” Price continued.

“Mixed-status families.” Wow. Wonder which indebted snowflake came up with that woke gem.

Of course, Price brayed that taxpayers would need to foot the bill for the proposed insanity.

“This includes financial support for our DREAMers, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) beneficiaries and for my constituents to become naturalized citizens,” Price boomed.

How terribly inconvenient, especially when accounting for the recent implications of illegal immigration delineated in “The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2023,” which was just released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

Per the study, Americans now spend at least $151B per year on varied services for illegal immigrants, with K-12 “education” taking the lion’s share of taxpayer funds.

“The largest cost that FAIR identifies is K-12 education, which the group estimates costs a total of $78 billion a year. Health care – including uncompensated hospital expenditures, Medicaid fraud and Medicaid for U.S. born children – is estimated to cost $42.7 billion a year. Costs related to criminal justice at the federal, state and local levels, which includes federal immigration enforcement, are estimated at approximately $47 billion a year,” Fox News reported.

No wonder Biden just announced a massive hike in taxes …
