Remember when former Senator Bob Menendez was busted taking suspect bribes from Egypt?
The bribery was so blatantly obvious that even the Democrats forced him out.
That said, while bribery is bad enough, it would appear that other situations can be even more humiliating.
So, if you thought a Democrat senator resigned for a rather embarrassing reason – taking bribes from Egyptians – just wait until you hear the reason a Democrat judge recently left his position.
Per a stunning report from the New York Post, Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Jose “Joel” Cano has apparently left his position, in a rather abrupt manner.
Cano is a Democrat who had served as a judge for nearly fifteen years, until an unexpected development within his house suddenly rendered him a less suitable candidate for the bench.
And what was within the home of Cano?
Apparently, a 23-year-old illegal migrant from Venezuela named Cristhian Ortega-Lopez.
Oddly enough, Ortega-Lopez had been all of nine or ten years old, maximum, when Cano began his career.
Talk about throwing it all away.
Apparently, Ortega-Lopez first “began interacting with Cano’s family a little over a year ago after helping the judge’s wife install a glass door and doing other odd jobs for her.”
Indeed, the judge’s wife, Nancy Cano, appeared to play a pivotal role in Ortega-Lopez’s eventual fall from grace.
As it was Ms. Nancy who decided it was as great idea to ask Ortega-Lopez to move into the family “casita” after he was apparently kicked out of an apartment shared with upwards of five other individuals.
Naturally, it is unclear whether or not the Cano family ever bothered to verify that Ortega-Lopez had, indeed, truly been rendered homeless.
Especially when considering the actions of Ortega-Lopez after the fact.
Sure enough, once Ortega-Lopez moved into the Democrat judge’s family compound, Ortega-Lopez began to become close to the daughter, April Cano – make of that what you will.
Troublingly, Ms. April “possessed a large number of firearms,” which apparently piqued the interest of the Venezuelan illegal.
And, as it would turn out, the same illegal is apparently linked to a gang … as he has tattoos, clothing, andhand gestures commonly associated with Tren de Aragua.
Needless to say, it was a bit of a problem when others discovered that a judge was not only living with an illegal migrant, but that he was also living with a gun-loving illegal associated with a gang designated as a terrorist organization.
Cano’s resignation letter followed swiftly thereafter.
“Working with each of you has been a very rewarding experience for which I will remain eternally grateful … All the best to every [one] of you. I wish all of you a happy retirement once you are ready yourself,” Cano declared.
Well, to be fair to Cano, at least he practices what he apparently preaches … take in all illegal migrants.
And, in Cano’s case, he not only let the illegal migrant into his personal residence, but he also let him become “friends” with his daughter.
Meanwhile, in ultra-exclusive Martha’s Vineyard – known as a common habitat for Empress Pelosi and related characters – illegal migrants are removed even more swiftly than they arrive.
So, while Cano may be quite a few things, it would appear that a hypocrite is not one of them.
