Radical Shift: Democrats Face Internal Turmoil and Division

The Democrats have a problem. A big one. Their party is being torn in two — not just by ideas, but by age and ideology. On one side, you have the old guard, like Nancy Pelosi, clinging to power without a clear plan. On the other, you have radical progressives like California State Senator Scott Wiener, who is now running for Pelosi’s seat in Congress. And believe it or not, Wiener may be even more dangerous than Pelosi.

Let’s start with the basics. Pelosi is 85 years old. She’s been in office for decades and is known more for her stock market success than any recent leadership. She hasn’t said if she’s running again in 2026, but she did file the paperwork. Still, she’s waiting to see how redistricting in California plays out before making a move. That’s not leadership. That’s political chess.

Enter Scott Wiener. He’s not waiting. He announced he’s running for Congress, whether Pelosi runs or not. He says he wants to protect San Francisco’s “values” and “defend the Constitution.” But when you look at his record, it’s clear he has no interest in following the Constitution as written. Instead, he pushes the kind of radical policies that tear families apart and strip away parental rights.

Wiener was the driving force behind Senate Bill 107. That bill turned California into a so-called “refuge” for children seeking gender transitions — even if their parents back home don’t agree. That’s right. If a child from Texas or Florida wants puberty blockers or surgery, California will shield them — and ignore the laws of their home state. That’s a direct attack on federalism and on parents’ rights. The Constitution leaves family law matters to the states, not rogue lawmakers in Sacramento.

He also backed another bill that would’ve punished parents who didn’t “affirm” their child’s chosen gender. Thankfully, even Governor Gavin Newsom — no conservative — vetoed it. That tells you how extreme Wiener’s ideas are.

But he doesn’t stop there. He spreads lies about conservatives, too. In August, he claimed that Florida banned “The Diary of Anne Frank.” That was false. The book is still in Florida schools and is part of the 8th-grade curriculum. But that didn’t stop him from pushing the fake story to attack Republicans.

This is the kind of extremism that’s now rising in the Democratic Party. And it’s turning off donors. According to The Wall Street Journal, the Republican National Committee has $86 million in the bank. The Democrats? Just $12 million. When the DNC tried to set up a fundraiser in San Francisco with Kamala Harris, donors flat-out rejected it. Some even sent back angry messages. Why? Because they see what’s happening — the party is lost, and they don’t want to throw good money after bad.

And who can blame them? The Democrats are stuck between a failed past and a doomed future. Pelosi represents the old machine — out of ideas and out of touch. Wiener represents a new breed of lawmaker who wants to destroy traditional values and rewrite the Constitution to fit his radical agenda.

It’s no wonder the party is falling apart. The American people are waking up. They’re tired of politicians who care more about pushing fringe ideologies than protecting families and freedom. They want leaders who respect the Constitution, defend states’ rights, and put the people first.

That’s why Republicans are winning. That’s why donors are giving. That’s why the future belongs to the party of liberty, not the party of lawlessness.

The battle for San Francisco may only be one race, but it tells a bigger story. It’s the story of a Democrat Party in chaos — torn between a fading elite and a rising radicalism. And in the end, both sides are wrong for America.

Let the Democrats fight over who gets to represent the ruins of San Francisco. The rest of us will focus on rebuilding this nation — one state, one family, and one vote at a time.
