Anti-Trump DA Letitia James Linked To Hunter Biden In Big Fraud Case

Talk about strangely predictable bedfellows.

While former President Joe Biden may have long since set sail from the nation’s capital, it appears that his son will lurk about indefinitely.

At least in name.

According to a bizarre report from the New York Post, none other than Hunter Biden has shown up, if indirectly, in the current trials and travails of Letitia James.

Just consider the crazy headline: “NY AG’s office hires Hunter Biden’s lawyer to defend Letitia James against mortgage fraud accusations.”

Truly, not even the conservative equivalent of “The Onion” rival some of the headlines that have emerged as of late.

And while the headline is clearly hilarious, the content of the article is even more hilarious.

“New York Attorney General Letitia James has tapped criminal defense attorney Abbe Lowell – who previously defended Hunter Biden against federal tax and gun charges – as she fights mortgage fraud allegations.

NY AG’s office hires Hunter Biden’s lawyer to defend Letitia James against mortgage fraud accusations … The decision to hire Lowell, a prominent white-collar defense lawyer, was based in part on the AG’s office belief that the bombshell criminal referral filed by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte earlier this month was directly correlated to the civil fraud lawsuit James’ office brought against President Trump last year,” the New York Post reported.

Well then. Nothing quite screams “I’m innocent!” like hiring one of Hunter Biden’s (many) attorneys.

Needless to say, the New York AG’s strange choice of attorney is yet another strange addition to a highly ironic, ongoing news story.

Especially as James herself is a fairly controversial figure.

As widely known by many Americans, James became a household name over her dogged pursuit of Trump for his allegedly fraudulent financial activities.

James “succeeded” in terms of securing suspect felony convictions for Trump, though she did not triumph in preventing Trump from winning the election.

Now, mere months after Trump’s inauguration, James became ensnared in a mortgage fraud, in which she apparently misrepresented her principal residence to receive a more favorable interest rate.

Oh, the irony.

Given how intensely James pursued Trump for apparent financial fraud, it is rather amusing, to say the least, that she herself has not exactly been operating in an aboveboard manner at all times herself.

And, almost as if to double down on this public image, James apparently thinks it’s a great idea to go and hire one of Hunter Biden’s attorneys.
