Biden Empowers Big Pharma Bro

Gotta love it when Biden’s team hightails it for the hills, especially amid a rapidly ballooning classified documents scandal, especially when Biden thinks it’s a great idea to replace them with Big Pharma bros.

The latest casualty is Chief of Staff Ron Klain, who announced his departure over the weekend in an effort to avoid the media coverage characteristic of the Monday-Friday news cycle.

After all, Senator Sinema announced her departure from the Democrat Party on a Friday, and, apparently, Klain decided that the weekend was also an ideal time for an abrupt departure.

“Today – at the halfway point of this term for the President and Vice President – we celebrate not only WHAT was accomplished, but HOW it was accomplished: through teamwork, collaboration, mutual respect, and a lot of hard work. This team did so many historic things, and did them in historic fashion, as part of the most diverse and most talented White House staff ever,” Klain boomed, all before declaring he was headed off for ostensibly brighter, less scandalous opportunities.

Well then, where to begin with that?

One thing is for sure: Klain could certainly scrap “and most talented,” unless he means the most talented at being utterly unashamed at how utterly disingenuous the entire lot of Biden’s Cabinet happens to be.

As far as “historic fashion” is concerned?

Well, it is certainly “historic” to see Biden ordered around by an Easter Bunny, as that hasn’t been a common practice for past presidents.

It is even more “historic” when the same president declares that the world is closer to Armageddon than it’s ever been, which is a tad saber-rattling, to put it mildly.

To replace Klain, Biden apparently thinks it’s a great idea to put another Big Pharma bro in a position of power, as if Fauci weren’t enough.

That’s right: Jeff Zients, otherwise known as an alleged “COVID coordinator,” is apparently set to take Klain’s place, though it’s rather clear the main thing Zients excels at coordinating is rich profiteering delivered straight to his personal bank account.

As reported by the Daily Mail, quite a few leftist progressives are incensed by Biden’s “choice” (let’s get real, someone chose Zients, perhaps Pfizer’s CEO, but certainly not Biden).

“Zients, who previously served as the White House coronavirus response coordinator, has been criticized for his corporate past and the significant wealth he has accumulated in the private sector. Zients has disclosed owning between $89.3 million and $442.8 million in assets, including various investment funds, real estate properties, and cash shares,” the publication reported.

A net worth between $89.3M and $442.8M? That’s quite the discrepancy!

Classic Democrat “accounting,” that’s for sure.

Naturally, Zients has held several “senior positions” with Obama.

Seems like everyone that’s been in a “senior position” in the Obama administration has made out like a bloody bandit.

And, as if the Democrat collusion with Big Tech couldn’t be any clearer, Zients has served on Facebook’s board as well.

Charming.

The leftwing think tanks Center for Economic and Policy Research and Public Citizen are hardly endeared to Biden’s “choice,” while other progressives have been even more vocal.

One progressive went as far as to suggest that Biden was allowing “dark forces” to flourish.

“Joe Biden’s best chance to fight for the American people and defeat the dark forces threatening our economy is to show real results via the branch of government he runs – the executive branch,” Revolving Door Project Executive Director Jeff Hauser intoned.

Apparently, the Biden administration is uninterested in defeating the “dark forces,” especially when said forces are so lucrative.

“We have long argued for a ‘corporate crackdown’ on behaviors that violate federal laws and harm the American people in order for corporations to become richer. Those are the practices that have made Zients rich,” Hauser continued in dismay, “we’re deeply worried that Zients will prevent the administration from exercising power righteously on behalf of an already cynical populace.”

With respect, Mr. Hauser, the populace is well within reason feeling cynical at this juncture in time.

After all, the general public is currently dealing with a president who apparently doesn’t see what the big deal is with his massive classified documents scandal, despite literally overseeing a veritable raid on Mar-a-Lago over the exact same thing.

Actually, even worse … as Trump didn’t let documents fester in some garage for over 7 years, especially with wayward, foreign compromised children lurking about.

In fact, Biden seems almost irritated he has to address the scandal at all.

“The American people don’t quite understand why you don’t ask me questions about that,” Biden ranted in response to reporters’ questions regarding the latest (endless) developments.

The president dismissed all questions and returned to reading prewritten, ghostwritten remarks on alleged climate change, all the most absurd following the global elites’ recent gathering at Davos.
