Clinton Blasts Trump’s “Allegiance To Algorithms” In Controversial Forum

Another day, another angry rant from Hillary Clinton, who will apparently never live down her defeat from Donald Trump nearly a decade ago.

As reported by The Hill, Trump was clearly on Clinton’s brain during her recent appearance at the World Forum on the Future of Democracy, Tech and Humankind in Berlin, Germany.

Rather intriguing that Clinton was a lead speaker at any event associated with the “future of democracy,” especially as she assumed the presidency was hers for the taking in 2016.

Now, however, since her political career has taken on a different trajectory, Clinton has sunk back into the same tactics as before – declaring Trump to be a dictator.

“Autocracy is on the march,” Clinton brayed at the Berlin forum.

When is autocracy not on the march for Clinton whenever a Republican is in charge?

Because that’s all she seems to come up with as of late.

Though she has, rather humorously, blasted Trump’s apparent “allegiance to algorithms.”

“And we now have a government in the United States that has thrown in its lot with the autocrats, which has made a choice to support those who wage war, not peace, who have given enormous power to the men who control the information flow in our world, who have all pledged allegiance to the continuation of algorithms that not only addict us, but poison us with hatred and fear,” Clinton continued.

“Poison us with hatred and fear.” Interesting … as the exact same accusation could be levied against the mainstream media.

Even more remarkably, around the same time as Clinton’s incendiary comments, Germany issued “updated” travel advice for the United States.

Hint: It was not favorable.

“Germany warns its travelers about US border crackdown under Trump,” Politico Europe blared in a rather incendiary headline.

Gotta love how Politico refers to enforcing the law as a “border crackdown.”

“Berlin’s Foreign Office now warns its citizens that tougher immigration enforcement under U.S. President Donald Trump could land travelers in detention or see them face deportation,” Politico noted.

Well, if said travelers are engaging in criminal activity, certainly. That’s been a “fact” for ages.

“Officials now explicitly warn that even minor infractions – such as overstaying a visa or misstating travel plans – could trigger immediate deportation or a ban on future entry,” Politico continued.

Well, Politico, those restrictions have been in place since the September 11 terrorist attacks, for obvious reasons.

And more than one German has already been detained as a result of Trump’s sweeping border enforcement.

One German traveler reportedly “described being held in shackles before being deported from the U.S.-Mexico border,” though one might naturally wonder what the German tourist was doing at the border in the first place.

Nonetheless, one thing is for certain: Clinton clearly appears keen to continue bashing Trump to sympathetic audiences … even if the end result is continued division.
