Demented Dem Declares That Trump Aims To Invade Major US Ally

So much for toning down the political rhetoric … in particular rhetoric that seems to emphasize disinformation, or, at minimum, flawed opinions.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Massachusetts Representative Seth Moulton did just that recently, during an ill-advised, very public dialogue with CNN correspondent Jessica Dean.

Astonishingly, Moulton actually claimed that President Donald Trump is interested in invading Poland, Mongolia, and India.

And what evidence does he provide for such a claim?

Well, feel free to judge for yourself, based on Moulton’s rants.

“If Trump is so concerned about Russia and China, then does he want to take over Poland, because they border Russia? Does he want to take over India, because they border China? Does he want to take over Mongolia kind of in between the two?” Moulton ranted.

Well then. What a factually driven argument. Bravo!

And as for the United States invading India, a nation with over a billion people … what on earth is he on about? Or, more accurately, what on earth is he on?

After all, a Democrat representative did recently admit that his colleagues can be “high on something” when voting … and this guy appears clearly “high on something” during his own CNN appearance.

“I mean, this is just absurd. That’s not how the United States operates. It’s a dumb way to conduct foreign policy,” Moulton added angrily.

Yeah? Well, the United States also doesn’t normally operate with a mentally incapacitated president either, though that’s clearly occurred, so here we are.

“Our greatest strength is our allies. And when our allies can’t trust us, they won’t fight for us. They won’t stand up to our adversaries. And all of that makes America much less safe,” the Democrat continued.

Hm, that could potentially be a fair point … Except that Moulton conveniently leaves out the fact that Democrats initiated the serious rift with American allies, particularly during the abysmally executed withdrawal from Afghanistan.

According to a report from The Guardian, “senior conservatives” within the British government apparently decided that the United States was clearly an unreliable partner after the withdrawal.

One such conservative included Gavin Barwell, who previously served as chief of staff for Theresa May.

“The lesson for Europeans is clear. Whoever is president, the US is unlikely to offer the same support that it used to in parts of the world where its vital interests are not involved. Europeans are going to have to develop the capability to intervene without US support. That’s not going to be cheap. And the EU and Britain are going to have to work out how to cooperate on this because we face the same threats,” Barwell proclaimed.

It would seem that Trump is hardly the only president that’s led to allies not “trusting” us, to put it mildly.

Alas, despite Moulton’s absence of evidence, his claims began to circulate in the media as though they were based on fact … and they clearly are not.

“Dem Rep: Trump Wants These Three Countries After Greenland,” The Daily Beast gleefully declared in its incendiary headline, before segueing into spreading the mass disinformation initiated by Moulton.

At least mass disinformation at the time of this writing, anyway.

Even international media outlets quoted the deranged Democrat.

For instance, EurAsia Daily announced, “Poland and India? Trump may not stop at Greenland – Moulton” in its headline.

And so forth.

So much for the “facts” that the Dems claim to care about.

Amazingly, CNN even tried to suggest that there are no “real” interests in the Arctic from either China or Russia, which is complete madness.

“What are these concerns about the interests of Russia and China in The Arctic? Are they real? Or do you just think he’s doing the wrong thing?” Dean pressed.

Why yes, Dean, they are real.

Suggested reading: Sea Power, by Admiral James Stavridis.

Published eight years ago, Sea Power focuses on the Arctic region precisely due to Russia’s immense interest in it.

And, by default, China’s.

In fact, Stavridis argues that the United States has not taken the Arctic seriously enough.

Making Dean’s question incredibly irresponsible, especially for Americans unaware of how critical the Arctic truly is.

Even Moulton had to agree, though he clearly did not want to.

“Russia is creating many bases there,” Moulton admitted.

No kidding. Russia is doing many things there.

In fact, Russia has already developed “many bases” there … with far more on the way.

Even more hilariously, after claiming that Trump planned to invade India, amongst other nations, Moulton then proceeded to blame national security threats on climate change.

“The irony is that [the threats] are actually real because of climate change, which is reducing the ice in the Arctic, making it much easier for ships to travel,” Moulton

Uh huh. By all means, keep on blaming climate change for everything.

The gift that keeps on giving … for libs.

That said, given that Russia really is “creating many bases there,” it is all the more reason for the United States to get serious about national security.
