Looks like one woke judge after another is all in favor of striking down laws designed to protect minors who are clearly struggling with mental health issues.
Including, and perhaps especially, within red states, which are far more likelyl to. Protect children against unseemly influences.
In Arkansas, U.S. District Judge Jay Moody aggressively struck down legislation designed to prevent minors from receiving “gender affirming” transgender surgeries.
The law had been passed by the Arkansas legislature in April 2021, and, apparently, Mr. Moody did not approve, as evidenced in his scathing ruling.
“Rather than protecting children or safeguarding medical ethics, the evidence showed that the prohibited medical care improves the mental health and well-being of patients and that, by prohibiting it, the State undermined the interests it claims to be advancing,” Moody declared.
That’s rather interesting, Mr. Moody.
Please reveal all the scientific studies that talk about how wonderful transgender surgery is for 12-year-olds. Or how hormone therapy is a great option for teenagers already experiencing grave upsets in hormonal balances.
And, when doing so, bear in mind that “scientific studies” from elitist American universities regarding eugenics were also used by Nazi Germany in the early twentieth century.
Regardless, Moody’s attitude is deeply distressing, and hardly protective of society.
Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin noted that the state would be appealing the judge’s decision to the 8thCircuit Court of Appeals, though it is unfortunate that such actions have to be necessary.
“I am disappointed in the decision that prevents our state from protecting our children against dangerous medical experimentation under the moniker of ‘gender transition,’” Griffin remarked dispiritedly.
No kidding.
Even the wokest of the woke in the UK and Europe are taking a step back from the transgender militancy of the United States, if only after seeing the horrors of unchecked migration across their own (much smaller) populations.
Transgenderism, like open borders, does not bode well for a nation’s future.
“Unfortunately, Judge Moody misses what is widely understood across the United States and in the United Kingdom and European countries: There is no scientific evidence that any child will benefit from these procedures, while the consequences are harmful and often permanent … I will continue fighting as long as it takes to stop providers from sterilizing children,” Griffin added.
Please do, especially as protecting children is hardly the Democrats’ MO.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee also chimed in about the ruling, indicating her deep displeasure with its connotations.
“Only in the far-Left’s woke vision of America is it not appropriate to protect children … We will fight this and the Attorney General plans to appeal Judge Moody’s decision to the Eighth Circuit,” Huckabee declared.
From BLM to transgender mobs, not to mention Hollyweird and Epstein’s notorious island, it’s frightening to think of what the left will subject children and impressionable young adults to next.
