So chant the various “Ivy League” students in New York City, all of whom were likely granted admission via good ole DEI metrics, rather than the classic SAT or ACT.
Indeed, protestors apparently rule the roost at the nation’s most “elite” institutions, including Columbia University.
In fact, Columbia University has apparently made conditions so accommodating for pro-terrorist protestors that classes have now been cancelled at least once due to “safety” issues.
That’s right: The protestors have “won” in the sense that Columbia University has deemed in-person classes too unsafe for students.
The absence of safety was further reinforced by a rabbi, who warned students against
“What we are witnessing in and around campus is terrible and tragic. The events of the last few days, especially last night, have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism, and anarchy …
It deeply pains me to say that I would strongly recommend you return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved. It is not our job as Jews to ensure our own safety on campus. No one should have to endure this level of hatred, let alone at school,” a rabbi for the Orthodox community at Columbia/Barnard.
And, just like that, the Ivy Leagues are straight back to pandemic closure conditions.
Way to go, “protestors.”
Little wonder that Assistant Columbia Professor Shai Davidai has blasted the universities for not bothering to enlist the help of authorities to combat virulent antisemitism.
“If any other group was depicted as animals … the school would have already called the FBI to investigate,” Davidai declared.
Would they ever.
Heck, the FBI is all over people who shop at Bass Pro Shop or wear MAGA hats, but they won’t bother to investigate pro-terrorist groups literally calling for outright violence and destruction.
In fact, the groups have become so organized and frightening that they are actually bringing to mind past horrors, as detailed by Senator Tom Cotton.
“These are scenes like you see out of the 1930s in Germany … They should never be witnessed or tolerated here in America in 2024,” Cotton declared.
Yet another “legacy” from Obama’s “third term.”
Cotton also has a rather savvy solution for violent “students” here on a visa.
“And by the way, any of these students who are foreigners here on visas should have their visas provoked by the Biden administration and promptly deported … They have no right to be here, and they certainly have no right to be here spewing antisemitic and anti-Israel filth,” Cotton declared.
