Wow, it looks like the Pentagon woke up and (finally) smelled the coffee.
Given the widespread backlash against the growing transgender militant movement, which has lurched from bathrooms to female sports, it is not surprising that growing numbers of Americans are becoming fed up.
And, apparently, the top brass at the Pentagon is also disgusted, as detailed by the Daily Mail.
After all, with nuclear tensions at an all-time high and multiple nations throughout the world trying everything within their power to challenge the United States, now is probably not the time for the military to put on massive drag shows.
And, apparently, the Pentagon was set to do just that in Las Vegas.
Republican Representative Chip Roy of Texas expressed extreme disgust upon hearing this news, especially as taxpayer funds were likely involved in funding yet another ostentatious drag show.
“It has come to our attention that the Department of Defense (DoD) will once again divert American families’ tax dollars away from advancing its mission to ‘deter war and ensure our nation’s security’ to the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) events during the month of June 2023,” Roy remarked angrily.
As the furor spread, someone at the Pentagon woke up and decided to cancel the event, thereby incurring the rage of the transgender mob.
Sabrina Singh, who serves as the Department of Defense deputy press secretary, provided a carefully worded statement to the publication regarding the highly publicized cancellation, knowing that it will be dissected to the nth degree by individuals intent on finding “microaggressions” in everything.
“Per DoD Joint Ethics Regulation (JER), certain criteria must be met for persons or organizations acting in non-Federal capacity to use DoD facilities and equipment.’
“As Secretary Austin has said, the DOD will not host drag events at U.S. military installations or facilities. Hosting these types of events in federally funded facilities is inconsistent with regulations regarding the use of DoD resources,” Singh remarked.
Seriously. Not to mention the DoD mission!
“We are proud to serve alongside any and every young American who takes the oath that puts their life on the line in defense of our country … Service members and their families are often involved in a host of special interest activities related to their personal hobbies, beliefs, and backgrounds,” Singh added, in a clear effort to placate the mob.
Too bad the mob is only placated when it has obliterated or cancelled everyone who thinks differently.
Then they turn on each other.
Republican Representative Matt Gaetz was thrilled with the decision, especially as General Mark Milley apparently was incensed upon hearing about the upcoming drag event in Vegas.
“General Mark Milley commits to ENDING drag queen story hour events on military bases after I presented evidence to him during today’s House Armed Service Committee hearing. Austin, however, denied that they were happening at all,” Gaetz chortled.
Way to go, top brass.
One cancels an event while the other denies the event is occurring.
One can only hope such inconsistent communication does not occur on the battlefield.
And, preditably, transgender performers are enraged, claiming that politicians have turned “fear” into business.
“Fear is a very big business for politicians who use it to control the masses. Creating a narrative by certain actions is careless because actions do speak louder than words. This action, 24 hours before the event would take place, is a clear message. I think we all know what that message is,” Coco Montrese raged.
Yeah. The message is simple … Stop shoving a transgender agenda down people’s throats, and expect them to pay for it via taxes.
