Top Progressive Stuns Nation By Agreeing With Trump On Illegal Migration

Stop the presses!

… Because it seems like the impossible just happened.

None other than Bernie Sanders, well known as the extremely long-term, multi-millionaire senator from Vermont, has apparently decided it isn’t the worst idea in the world to agree with President Donald Trump on some of his more controversial policies.

Indeed, the top “progressive,” otherwise known as a de facto Marxist, recently – and quite publicly – acknowledged that unfettered migration is a bad thing.

Yes, that’s right: Sanders actually agrees with Trump on illegal migration … to a certain point, anyway.

As reported by The Hill, Sanders made his rather stunning remarks during an appearance on “This Week” with Jonathan Karl, illustrating that the senator is clearly a tad more in alignment with voters’ concerns … or at least pretending to be.

Sanders was sure to begin his criticism of illegal migration by launching into the major issues that have emerged with fentanyl … though in doing so, he was effectively reaffirming the same arguments that Republicans have had for years.

“I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,” Sanders declared.

Well, no kidding.

That’s only been one of the main GOP messages for ten years, at this point ….

And, very shortly after basically admitting that illegals are responsible for a huge challenge with fentanyl, Sanders proceeds to state that “no one” thinks illegal immigration is appropriate.

“Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate, and I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally,” Sanders

Gotta give Sanders credit for remarks that undoubtedly left AOC, Michelle Wu, “Brandon” Johnson, and other DEI politicians screaming into the night.

Considering that every single one of them has been rather in favor of mass illegal migration … to the extent that the alienate their own constituents!

That said, after claiming that illegal migration was a real problem, Sanders was sure to diverge with Trump just enough to not totally alienate his base.

“[Trump] wants to deport 20 million people who are in this country who are undocumented … Well, you do that, you destroy the entire country,” Sanders angrily remarked.

Is that so? Considering that at least 10 million illegals stormed the border under former President Joe Biden alone, not to mention countless millions in the preceding years, it seems rather sensible to remove quite a few.

“Because I got news for you, Trump’s billionaire friends are not going to pick the crops in California that feed us. They’re not going to work in meatpacking houses. That’s what undocumented people are doing,” Sanders roared.

Or, you know, the undocumented are vending the fentanyl that Sanders claims to be so concerned about, but it is what it is …
