Leave it to President Donald Trump to kill two birds with one stone.
As mass deportation programs are currently unfolding across the nation, Trump has also been reflecting upon the rise of violent crime in general.
An increase that has undoubtedly been attributed to the Biden-Harris administration’s support for “zero bail” policies and other completely crazy ideas regarding “justice.”
Indeed, from New York City to Los Angeles, criminals are well aware of the fact that they can do quite a bit with impunity.
Even being arrested won’t stop them, as they will be released within hours in an effort to have more “equity” in society.
And once someone has been arrested several dozen times, perhaps it is best they are forced to seek other lands in which to commit their crimes.
Which is precisely why Trump is mulling now.
According to a report from Breitbart, Trump is considering tackling recidivism, or re-arrest rates, from a fundamentally different perspective – sending wayward criminals to other nations for “a small fee.”
A fee that would be a heck of a lot smaller than housing and feeding criminals for decades.
When they aren’t busy terrorizing the streets of the United States, that is.
“We also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times, 41,42 times, in a couple of cases,” Trump mused.
Exactly.
The same types of criminals pushing people in front of subways and leading to mass closures of CVS and Walgreens stores, all because the Democrats remain obsessed with coddling criminals.
“I don’t want these violent repeat offenders in our country any more than I want illegal aliens from other countries who misbehave,” Trump continued.
Preaching to the choir, without a doubt.
As pretty much no one else – aside from other criminals – wants such violent offenders to stay around either.
“And I say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they’ve been arrested many, many times – they’re repeat offenders by many numbers – I want them out of our country. I also will be seeking permission to do so,” Trump continued.
In other words, Trump appears to be considering a plan similar to the plan that the United Kingdom (UK) had started with regards to illegal migrants – sending several to Rwanda.
And while the UK plan may have faltered under leftist backlash, it appears that a similar plan for the US is taking root under Trump
“We’re going to get approval, hopefully, to get them the hell out of our country, along with others. Let them be brought to a foreign land and maintained by others for a very small fee, as opposed to be maintained in our jails for massive amounts of money, including the private prison companies that charge us a fortune. No, let them be brought out of our country and let them live there for a while. Let’s see how they like it,” Trump added.
Indeed.
Now, that would be quite the twist on the “Three Strikes” policies, which may have been effective in removing criminals from the streets but less effective in terms of reducing the burden to taxpayers.
By sending incredibly violent criminals elsewhere for a small fee, the Trump administration can make huge improvements in public safety … while also saving the taxpayers money.
On top of that, since many of the migrants that barreled across the border are violent criminals from other nations anyway, it would appear that Trump is merely returning the favor.
Turnabout is fair play, after all … especially in this context.
