Looks like organized criminal organizations from Latin America are working overtime in order to “prove” the validity of being characterized as foreign terrorist organizations.
Especially when said organizations are apparently recruiting “ringleaders” as young as 12 years old.
According to a shocking report from the New York Post, a mob apparently led by middle-school aged thugs thought it would be a great idea to launch an attack on law enforcement officers … right in the middle of Times Square.
“A rowdy mob of Tren de Aragua gangbangers turned on a pair of NYPD cops in Times Square in a shocking caught-on-video assault – the second migrant attack on New York’s Finest in the tourist hot spot in less than two years,” the New York Post detailed.
Well, quite frankly, it is rather unclear how long Times Square will remain a so-called “tourist hot spot.”
After all, who wants to go to a “tourist hot spot” in which there is a high probability of being mugged, assaulted, or worse?
“The cowardly attack came after the Friday night boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Rolly Romero in the Crossroads of the World, with the two cops jumped while trying to stop the asylum-seeking thugs from robbing a pair of youngsters, law enforcement sources said,” the New York Post continued.
Ah. So, the middle school thugs decided to amplify the “entertainment” in the streets, albeit against law enforcement officers. Typical of illegal migrant “newcomers.”
And they sure do learn early, per the details of the report.
“At least three of the brutes were rounded up by Sunday afternoon – including a 12-year-old reputed ringleader – with police identifying the mob as members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and a baby-faced offshoot of the crew known as Diablos de la 42, or Devils of 42nd Street,” the New York Post added.
In addition, a few members of the mob had “already [been] sought for a string of shocking robberies in Central Park – and were caught red-handed trying to pull off another heist when two cops intervened.”
Exactly no one was surprised by this development either.
The only thing that will be a surprise is the moment when law enforcement officers are actually allowed to do their jobs without fear of reprisal from their “superiors.”
Which is precisely what more than one disgruntled law enforcement officer believes, as revealed anonymously.
“Is this what a sanctuary city is supposed to be? One of these kids was 11 years old when he was the ringleader of that Central Park robbery pattern,” the unnamed law enforcement officer remarked.
Yep. The 11-year-old will be “graduating” to other bigger and “better” crimes in no time, especially if the ultimate DEI pick, Alvin Bragg, keeps pitiable “zero bail” policies in place.
“What is it going to take for some of this policy to change when you have an 11, now 12-year-old, running around – or anybody – committing these crimes? When is common sense going to prevail? Don’t we have a moral obligation?” the law enforcement officer continued.
Fair point.
Though it is difficult to put “moral obligation” and “New York City” in the same sentence, for many reasons.
Especially today.
Particularly when law enforcement officers across the city have been senselessly demonized by varied BLM riots, followed by pro-Hamas riots, alongside many other anti-police movements.
Which more than one commenter sagely noted.
“And of course, the cop who voiced his frustration will be censured and threatened with demotion for speaking what everyone is thinking,” one commenter remarked.
Without a doubt …
