Biden Wallops America With IRS Wildcard

Well, the White House has done it again … Mimicked one of the many moves from the Obama administration.

“The Senate on Wednesday confirmed Danny Werfel as commissioner of the IRS, 54 to 42 … Werfel will be tasked with leading the agency’s $80 billion expansion,” Newsmax reports.

Needless to say, Werfel played a rather pivotal role in the Obama administration.

In fact, it is almost as though Emperor Obama himself is the real president of the United States, given how often Biden has bleatingly repeated, “let’s finish the job.”

Given that Obama himself bragged about the current Biden administration “finishing the job” of his administration, in a public interview.

Only Obama could get away with blatantly bragging about enjoying an effective third term, given the media’s bizarre adulation of the rather anti-American, yet ultra-politically correct, globalist.

Thus, it comes as little surprise that Biden has resurrected yet another top Obama appointee for overseeing the IRS.

The degree to which this particular appointee, who was just confirmed by the Senate, adheres to partisan politics remains to be seen, though the moves the White House has threatened with regards to the IRS specifically give little comfort to Americans who actually work for a living, rather than others who prefer to leech off the efforts of others.

Werfel acquired widespread attention when taking over the IRS shortly after the federal agency incurred substantial negative press for apparently targeting conservative charities far more aggressively than liberal charities.

The Obama appointee did not take much time at all before announcing that he saw “any evidence of intentional wrongdoing” with regards to the IRS threatening specific taxpayers.

Now, as Biden threatens to wage war against Asian and White taxpayers, Werfel is entering IRS leadership at an even more tumultuous time period.

Senator Joe Manchin, for instance, indicates distrust of the direction in which the IRS is headed, given Biden’s massive, multibillion dollar expansion of the widely loathed agency, which is precisely why he voted against Biden’s (i.e., Obama’s) top choice.

After all, Manchin has seen, firsthand, how ineffective the Biden administration has been at taming inflation.

“At every turn, this administration has ignored congressional intent when implementing the Inflation Reduction Act … While Daniel Werfel is supremely qualified to serve as the IRS Commissioner, I have zero faith he will be given the autonomy to perform the job in accordance with the law and for that reason, I cannot support his nomination,” Manchin asserted.

Of course, other Democrat senators had a different take, including Senator Ron Wyden, who hails from the ultra-woke state of Oregon and inexplicably serves as Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.

“For Mr. Werfel to get bipartisan support to lead the IRS at a time when a lot of Republicans would happily mothball the entire agency is a testament to his fairness, his ability to work with both sides and his undeniable qualification for this role,” Wyden boomed.

Apparently, being one of Obama’s top preferences is the ultimate “undeniable qualification” for becoming a member of Biden’s not-so-esteemed Cabinet.
