Florida Governor Ron DeSantis strikes again!
Fresh off his victories against Disney and woke colleges, DeSantis has taken further aim against illegals streaming into Florida, including the codification of continued flights of migrants out of state.
“Florida is using all tools available to protect our citizens from Biden’s open border policies. I am glad to have signed legislation to continue the program of transporting illegal aliens to sanctuary jurisdictions. I thank the legislature for maintaining this valuable tool,” DeSantis announced proudly.
As a result of migrants willingly leaving the state on paid flights, DeSantis envisions greater protections for Floridians against “increased crime, diminished economic opportunities and wages for American workers, and burdens on the education and health care systems.”
Over the course of his governorship, DeSantis has repeatedly angered the Biden administration by revealing the White House’s utter incompetence, chiefly through the Florida governor’s superior policies.
All one has to do is contrast the state of Florida with the “State of the Union,” as grossly butchered by Biden in a recent speech, in order to see what a disaster the Biden White House has been overall.
Even more humorously, droves of Democrats are fleeing to Florida from hostile locales such as New York and California, further underscoring the extent to which DeSantis’s governance soars well above that of politicians who spend most of their time preening for TV or fighting on social media.
Previously, DeSantis flew a grand total of 50 Venezuelans to Martha’s Vineyard, one of the swankiest enclaves in the nation, with rather obvious justification, given the Biden administration’s indefensible border policies.
“They are supporting policies that are frankly, just indefensible. It is not defensible for a superpower to not have any control over the territory of its country or the borders of its country,” DeSantis declared.
And, to underscore just how “indefensible” the Democrats’ antics truly are, DeSantis decided to send just a few dozen illegal migrants up to one of the nation’s most elitist enclaves last fall, which promptly sent the media into an outraged frenzy.
Strange, really. Shouldn’t Democrats welcome their new voters with open arms?
After all, Mayor Eric Adams of New York did, though he is now facing an uncomfortable situation wherein migrants are revolting against him, tent protests and all.
Sound familiar?
Apparently, the lefties don’t have a clue what to do with the actual consequences of their decisions, the rich elites on Martha’s Vineyard among the worst of all, considering that they declared the arrival of 50 Venezuelans to be a “humanitarian crisis.”
Hilariously, over 2 million can sail past the border into Texas, Arizona, California, and other locales, but a whopping 50 show up in Martha’s Vineyard and the leftist elites lost their minds.
The entire situation becomes even more hilarious when digging deeper into the elite island’s official Twitter feed, in particular the following humorous tweet:
“To our Island community, here is an update on current humanitarian crisis on Martha’s Vineyard….we thank people for their continued help,” the elitist island pleaded.
A “crisis” that could have been entirely avoided … had Biden simply supported Trump’s wall … not to mention basic border security.
Alas, the president spends more time attacking Border Patrol than the people who make the officers’ lives exceedingly difficult.
