DOJ Dredges Up Suspect Witnesses In (Another) Anti-Trump Witch Hunt

It seems that the deranged DOJ just won’t give up in its witch hunt against Trump.

Even after the Supreme Court ruled that presidents had immunity when acting in the capacity of their official duties, the Dems have connived and schemed another way to “get Trump.”

Apparently, the latest trick is to claim that Trump was acting as a “private citizen” on January 6 … despite the fact that he was indisputably still the president.

Predictably, their methods are wholly unconstitutional, if not illegal, though “special” counsel Jack Smith seems to think otherwise, given the drivel his minions are currently spewing.

“At its core, the defendant’s scheme was a private one. He extensively used private actors and his campaign infrastructure to attempt to overturn the election results and operated in a private capacity as a candidate for office,” the prosecutors wrote in a sprawling 165-page report, undoubtedly laden with falsehoods.

Disturbingly, the prosecutors also claim that they have a witness who will testify observing Trump supposedly telling his family members that “it doesn’t matter if you won or lost the election … You still have to fight like hell.”

“The defendant made the comment to his family members, who campaigned on his behalf and served as private advisors (in addition to any official role they may have played),” the prosecutors detailed.

Right.

That sounds about as believable as the story of Trump supposedly “raping” someone in a department store several decades ago.

The report also claimed that Trump was attempting to “choose the next president.”

“The executive branch has no authority or function to choose the next president … The defendant’s charged conduct directly contravenes these foundational principles. He sought to encroach on powers specifically assigned by the Constitution to other branches, to advance his own self-interest and perpetuate himself in power, contrary to the will of the people,” the prosecutors continued.

Contrary to the will of the people? Get real.

What’s really contrary to “the people” that the Dems clearly ignore, at least until it’s election time again, is the fact that “the will of the people” clearly favors Trump.

As noted by Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung.

“Deranged Jack Smith and Washington DC Radical Democrats are hell-bent on weaponizing the Justice Department in an attempt to cling to power. President Trump is dominating, and the Radical Democrats throughout the Deep State are freaking out. This entire case is a partisan, Unconstitutional Witch Hunt that should be dismissed entirely, together with ALL of the remaining Democrat hoaxes,” Cheung asserted.

As the election will occur in approximately a month, one can only wonder what other “hoaxes” the Dems have in store might be.
