Former NFL Pro Puts Governor Gruesome In His Place

If anyone needs an example of the ultimate political grandstanding with zero intention to follow through, one need no look further than Governor Gruesome, otherwise known as Governor Newsom, of California.

After all, the woke governor instituted multiple lockdowns that he declined to follow while simultaneously setting up a so-called “Reparations Task Force” whose recommendations he never intended to follow … though he certainly needed to buy votes in time for his recall election.

Needless to say, the “task force” has gone berserk, proposing an absurd number of billions (if not trillions) to dole out to black residents in California, despite the fact that California was never a slave state.

Not that the task force cares, given their outrageous demands.

Indeed, the task force recently claimed that its demanded $800B is an “intentionally conservative” estimate, despite being more than double California’s present (already bloated) budget of approximately $300B.

“Since this list of harms and atrocities is not exhaustive, the total of the estimated losses to African Americans is not a final estimate of all losses … Rather, it is a very cautious initial assessment for what cost, at a minimum, the State of California is responsible. Further data collection and research would be required to augment these initial estimates,” the task force whined.

Further training in basic math, never mind economics, would also be required to make the task force’s demands remotely realistic, but greed knows no bounds with BLM types.

Hilariously, some so-called “activists” are outraged that California may cut a check for “only” $1.2M to black residents, with some demanding, in complete seriousness, $200M per black person in the entire nation.

The alleged Reverend Tony Pierce is one such person, who has actually garnered a public platform courtesy of Democrats’ utterly ludicrous policies.

“You know what that number is. You keep trying to talk about now, yet you research back to slavery, and you say nothing about slavery, nothing … So, the equivocal number from the 1860s for 40 acres to today is $200 million for each and every African-American,” Pierce raged.

Real practical.

Then again, since Biden has effectively shoveled multiple billions of unaccounted for “aid” in Ukraine, it’s little surprise such activists have such outrageous demands.

“You’re not supposed to be afraid … You’re just supposed to tell the truth. You’re not supposed to be the gatekeepers. You’re supposed to say what the people want and hear from the people,” Pierce continued.

Say what? Say “the truth” or “say what the people want?” Isn’t this “reverend” aware that the two are oftentimes at odds with one another?

Then again, this is the same reverend that thinks the United States can actually afford $200M per black resident when it most likely couldn’t afford $2,000.

Fortunately, at least more than one person is speaking out against the madness now.

As detailed by the Daily Mail, former NFL player Jack Brewer has declared that the reparations task force is “absolutely insane,” especially as real change will only come from real improvement within the community, rather than doling out endless handouts.

“As we look at our real issues that we have as black folks in America, particularly in California, you know, there’s one million blacks in LA County alone … And in the last report that I read, 80 percent of those kids in school can’t read and write at proficiency level. So if you’re going to talk about reparations, let’s talk about reparations through education,” Brewer declared.

Seriously!

Shame Newsom was intent on keeping schools closed forever, however, while his own children enjoyed typically elitist educational opportunities.

“Let’s actually have reparations that are going to work for the people… Those are our real issues. Our criminal justice issues, our educational issues. You talk about social justice, it’s not going to be completed by just handing out checks to people,” Brewer added.

Mr. Brewer, could you please run for governor of California? Please?

The state may actually have a chance with such convictions manifested in action.

“A God-fearing person would not sit up there and demand million-dollar checks. A God-fearing person would demand for righteousness to be instilled back in the children,” Brewer added pointedly.

Well, that settles it.

Brewer should definitely consider running for governor, as he would be leagues about Mr. Gruesome … and with his convictions, bring about real change.
