Former Obama Official Throws DOJ Under The Bus

When Obama bragged that Biden was “finishing the job” of his administration, he meant it.

After all, a huge percentage of Biden’s administration is effectively a repeat of Obama’s, and it is safe to say that Obama hardly had the best interests of the country in mind.

Especially as those same officials are showing up in the news, again, due to rampant corruption.

As detailed by Newsmax, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel, who is currently at the center of a firestorm regarding firing Hunter Biden whistleblowers, is yet another Obama-Biden official that’s been busted up in another swamp-induced storm.

Except now Werfel realizes his bias has surfaced to light, once again, which is why he is now claiming he has taken zero action against IRS whistleblowers, despite them being fired.

“I want to state unequivocally that I have not intervened – and will not intervene – in any way that would impact the status of any whistleblower,” Werfel insisted, despite the fact Hunter Biden whistleblowers had literally just been terminated.

However, Werfel apparently had a readymade entity to blame, as he promptly threw the Department of “Justice” under the bus.

“The IRS whistleblower you reference alleges that the change in their work assignment came at the direction of the Department of Justice. As a general matter and not in reference to any specific case, I believe it is important to emphasize that in any matter involving federal judicial proceedings, the IRS follows the direction of the Justice Department,” Werfel proclaimed.

In other words, Werfel claimed the DOJ told the IRS what to do. That’s nice.

Total corruption, on par with the level of politics typically witnessed in Subsaharan Africa.

“When an IRS employee raises allegations of this kind, the commissioner’s office does not run an investigation, seek the identity of the whistleblower, or similarly intervene; instead, the inspector general serves as a critical guardian of the whistleblower process and conducts relevant inquiries into the matter,” Werfel added pointedly.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Guess what, Werfel … the IRS commissioner is also supposed to serve as a “critical guardian” of unbiased federal governance, though that clearly isn’t the case.

After all, just consider the nonsense endorsement he received from Obama in 2013, which has since proven to be largely false.

“Throughout his career working in both Democratic and Republican administrations, Danny has proven an effective leader who serves with professionalism, integrity and skill.  The American people deserve to have the utmost confidence and trust in their government, and as we work to get to the bottom of what happened and restore confidence in the IRS, Danny has the experience and management ability necessary to lead the agency at this important time,” Obama brayed in 2013.

Ten years later, and Americans still have yet “to get to the bottom” of the swamp … which has grown even murkier with the Biden regime.
