McCarthy Issues Telling Response To Rising Impeachment Rumors

If former President Donald Trump can be impeached over a single phone call, a phone call that ironically relates to the Bidens’ corruption in Ukraine, then it seems like Biden’s own “impeachment inquiry” is long passed its sell-by date.

After all, Democrats never brought forth even a hint of evidence that Trump had ever received payment for political favors from varied international actors.

Meanwhile, Biden’s entire family has been milking the Ukrainians, Russians, and Chinese for veritable decades, especially during the Obama regime.

And, as much as the president likes to insist, “that’s not true,” with regards to actual documentation from J.P. Morgan regarding his family’s business transactions with foreign entities, it is clear that such documentation is very much true.

What isn’t clear is precisely why Biden continues to coast on with effectively zero accountability, especially as this absence of accountability has a direct bearing on national security.

It’s even worse when Biden apparently has the DOJ, IRS, and other agencies doing his bidding, shamelessly shutting down whistleblowers left and right.

Little wonder that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has broached the rising rumors regarding a potential impeachment of Biden during this time.

During a recent appearance on Fox News’s “Hannity,” McCarthy made it rather clear that he is weighing a variety of potential options with regards to commencing impeachment proceedings against Biden.

Falling short of announcing an official inquiry, McCarthy did suggest that such an inquiry very well may be on the table in the future.

“The actions that I’ve seen by this administration – withholding the agencies from being able to work with us – that would rise to the level of impeachment inquiry … What is happening right now are the committees of jurisdiction are continuing to investigate and they’re finding more and more information,” McCarthy stated.

In other words, rather than the hasty “impeachment inquiry” launched by a likely drunk Nancy Pelosi against Trump in the past, McCarthy is playing his hand very, very carefully.

“This is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry, which provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed,” McCarthy reiterated, “because this president has also used something we have not seen since Richard Nixon: Use the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight.”

The whistleblowers testifying to the weaponization effect also underscore the threat embedded in McCarthy’s careful commentary.
Of course, the enormous elephant in the room is the fact that Vice President Kamala Harris would apparently assume the place of Biden if Biden actually were to be impeached.

Such a transition would be nothing short of disastrous, if not even worse than the current regime.

And, as marvelous as it would be to imagine Biden and Harris impeached simultaneously, the reality is that such a situation is highly improbable.

After all, the Dems would pull out every vicious stop to ensure that the third in line to the presidency, McCarthy himself, would not become president.

As the 2024 election ticks closer and closer, one can only hope for a total blowout at the polls, one that defies whatever dubious tricks Dems have in store.

One can also only hope that Biden hasn’t drawn the nation into full-blown World War III by that point in time.
