Mega-Sized Spy Balloon Mocks Biden’s America

Nothing like a giant Chinese spy balloon, reportedly at least as large as three buses, floating through the skies, taking surveillance of American lands.

No conspiracy theory either, given the direct commentary from Brig Gen Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon press secretary, in a statement.

“[The balloon] currently traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic and does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground,” Ryder remarked.

“Does not present a military or physical threat?” Is he kidding? Does he have some deep inside knowledge of Chinese intel operations, and, if so, how?

Inquiring (suspicious) minds would like to know …

“Instances of this kind of balloon activity have been observed previously over the past several years. Once the balloon was detected, the US government acted immediately to protect against the collection of sensitive information,” Ryder added.

Oh yeah, the Biden administration is acting real immediately.

Just letting the balloon drift above highly sensitive areas (i.e., areas with nuclear siloes) unabated.

Indeed, the balloon has been drifting above Montana, which just happens to be home to a number of underground Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile silos.

In separate remarks to NBC News, Ryder continued to insist that the “high-altitude surveillance balloon” is being “closely” monitored.

“The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now … We continue to track and monitor it closely,” Ryder insisted.

A senior defense official also admitted that the balloon “entered the continental United States airspace a couple of days ago,” which is even more troubling, as it can clearly drift about freely without any real repercussions.

An anonymous senior defense official illustrated the entire situation with far more accuracy and bluntness, declaring, “clearly the intent of this balloon is for surveillance.”

Clearly, the White House has shown next to no resolve against such a balloon.

Imagine how either China or North Korea (or Russia) would react to a massive spy balloon hovering over them.

Needless to say, the Internet has been alight with comments, though one commenter in particular had a rather humorous, albeit dark, take on the situation.

“So let’s see if we can get this straight: We have NORAD and supersonic interceptors and missiles, yet somehow a freakin’ BALLOON drifts in and invades our air space? You cannot make this up!” they exclaimed.

Nope, one certainly could not make it up, that’s for sure.

The spy balloon also emerged shortly after the remarks of You Si-kun, who serves as the speaker of Taiwan’s parliament.

“So it’s very important to safeguard Taiwan, especially its democracy … If Taiwan falls into the sphere of influence of CCP, then the beacon of democracy will be destroyed. And China may invade the first island chain, and will cause a threat to the entire world,” You asserted.

Yep. Which is exactly why so many wonder what influence Beijing may have over Biden.

“And … Taiwan has produced the best semiconductor chips and will be very important for global trade as well. So if Taiwan cannot be safeguarded very carefully, it will be very dangerous to global trade as well as global peace,” You added.

Seriously. After all, an absence of those chips could send certain nations back to the veritable dark ages.
