You knew this day was coming.
Ultra-left Mayor Eric Adams has distinguished himself for encouraging the continuation of New York City’s violent crime, alongside its ill-conceived pro-illegal immigration policies.
And, surprise, surprise, despite openly declaring all illegals are welcome, Adams has managed to label Abbott’s bussing policy as “racist.”
Most hysterically of all, Adams isn’t claiming that the “racist” bus policy is anti-Hispanic … he is claiming it is anti-black.
“Not only is this behavior morally bankrupt and devoid of any concern for the well-being of asylum seekers, but it is also impossible to ignore the fact that Abbott is now targeting five cities run by Black mayors … Put plainly, Abbott is using this crisis to hurt Black-run cities,” Adams boomed.
Oh, please. More like Democrat-run cities.
On top of that, who is the one that proclaimed all illegals are welcome?
That would be you, Mr. Adams. What exactly did you think would happen when making such ludicrously irresponsible statements?
“Despite Abbott’s inhumane actions, New York City will continue to do all it can to handle this influx, but this crisis is more than one city can handle. With a vacuum of leadership from border states, we need the federal government to step in and provide us with support and to prevent this cruelty from continuing,” Adams added self-righteously.
Uh huh. Yeah, keep on housing illegals in $700 per night hotels, which totals well into six figures per night of New York taxpayer funds.
Illegals who are reportedly doing drugs, having public sex in the stairwells, and refusing hotel food because it’s apparently not good enough. Real “refugees,” right there.
In other words, demonstrating zero interest in assimilation, never mind contributing in any meaningful way whatsoever to American society.
Little wonder Twitter users roasted the moronic mayor for his breathtaking lack of self-awareness.
“Pathetic. You know you’ve lost the argument when you have to play the race card. Is the mayor of Martha’s Vineyard also black?” one Twitter user remarked coolly.
Seriously. Speaking of Martha’s Vineyard, the obnoxious global elites who live there, such as Obama, had all of 50 migrants thrown out from the island.
Real “tolerant.”
“You finally found a way to make it about race. For a moment, I thought you were slipping,” another user added.
Have no fear. Dems who don’t have an argument of any kind to stand on, even in part, will always blame “racism.”
Despite the fact their own policies could be considered “racist.”
“While you talk about skin color, how about helping the homeless black New Yorkers before you help illegal immigrants?! You refuse to help black people that need homes and medical assistance but scream racism. How does that make sense?!” another Twitter user demanded.
Seriously.
Homeless black veterans certainly wouldn’t mind staying in taxpayer-funded hotels, and they wouldn’t trash them (and their food offerings) either.
Other Twitter users pointed out Adams’ insane lack of awareness due to his own terrible illegal immigration policies.
“NYC is a sanctuary city, Mr. Mayor. You reap what you sow,” one user declared.
“Reap what you sow.” Clearly a phrase that has long since been lost on the utterly short-term Democrats.
“That’s exactly why you should take them. You have decided to keep NYC a sanctuary city. Where else would be better for them to go. Texas? I think not. You just said how bad he is,” another user added.
Another great point.
After all, Adams has made it clear he will disregard any federal enforcement of illegal immigration, which is not surprising as he won’t even enforce basic laws regarding violent crime.
Little wonder New York would be a compelling option to illegal gangbangers.
And, perhaps most humorously, a Twitter user issued a pithy retort that turned Democrats’ words right around on them.
“Sanctuary cities need to do their ‘fair share,’” the individual drawled.
Amen!
